Warm milk (Moonbin)
2am
Rolling over your bed for the hundredth time in the last hour, you sighed in defeat. You tried to do everything that made you sleepy on daily basis, but it seems that the world was against the thought of you getting some sleep.
You grabbed your phone from your nightstand and went through your apps, checking social media and watching videos help you distract for another hour, nothing seemed entertaining enough at, now, 3am.
Now your fingers were tapping your stomach and your eyes started looking around the room for something you could do, until they landed on a familiar jacket hanging from the chair beside your bed. Moonbins jacket. He must have forgotten it yesterday when you were watching a movie in your room.
You picked up your phone from the floor, somehow it ended there, contemplating if you should text him or not, it was too late but it was a simple message it’s not that he is going to answer, if you waited until the morning, thanks to your excellent memory, you knew that wouldn’t text him at all. You quickly typed.
You forgot your jacket here, just to let you know
After staring at the screen for a few minutes you left your phone back on the nightstand.
You were covering yourself back with the duvet when your phone started ringing, you looked at the caller, Moonbin.
Confused you answered.
His voice was hoarse, why did he called you, you just send him a message. A message with non-important content.
A silence was heard for a long time, long enough to made you think he had fallen asleep.
You called me and… I was worried some… something had happened to you
You giggled lightly. He was just too cute, but you felt bad for being the reason he woke up.
Why are you laughing, I’m being serious
A low mumbling, that’s how you would describe how he was talking right now.
Because I didn’t call you, i sent you a text
It sounded as if he was rubbing his face and fixing his hair.
Then, why are you still up…it’s… almost 4am
I just couldn’t sleep, sorry for waking you up by the way
Don’t worry, have you tried drinking warm milk? That always makes you sleepy
Do you want me to get you some?
No no, tomorrow i will go buy some
As soon as he said so the called ended.
You sat up immediately, was he out of his mind? It is 4 o’ clock in the morning and he was going to buy milk and come here.
You love moonbin, but he has a thing, he puts everyone before him, and sometimes you feel as if you are using him or something, but it’s him that offers himself and doesn’t accept a “don’t do it” or “no” for answer.
You tried calling him but each one of your calls got ignored. Other thing about Moonbin, when he was determined to do something, no one could stop him.
A few moments later there was a knock on your door, you ran to open it and there he was. Grey sweatpants, red hoodie, messy hair, eyes barely opened and a grocery bag on his band.
I can’t believe you went out to buy milk at 4am and came all the way from your dorm to bring it to me
He made his way inside, you closed the door as he left the plastic bag on the kitchen counter.
And then his arm were around you, pressing you against his chest. You wrapped your arms around him.
He pressed his lips against your neck and rested his forehead on your shoulder.
I’m just sleepy, that’s all. Let’s go to bed.
He started to sway side to side. You are getting to know a new side of him, when he sleepy he turned into a super clingy and affectionate teddy bear. Not that you were against it, sleepy Moonbin may be your favorite Moonbin.
I already told you I can’t sleep
He didn’t even need to open his eyes or take his head off your shoulder to know that you were pouting. He just took your hand and drag you to your bedroom.
He was still half asleep standing on the middle of your room.
He crawled into your bed, laid on his back and opened his arms, no words were needed to let you know he was waiting for you.
You laid on top of him, head on his chest as his fingers run through your hair and your eyelids started to drop.
He hold you closer and pecked your cheek.
So so so so so so so so so so sorry for taking so long to write this, but better late than never, we are crazy busy with school work so we try our best here 💕
