A Little Bit of Love Goes A Long Way

Taehyung's eyelids flutter open and he feels peaceful for the first time in so long. That feeling only lasts a second as the crippling pain in his legs sets in once again. He lets out a grunt and doesn't move to sit up, knowing all he would feel is more pain. So, opting to stay in the fetal position he finally fell to sleep in, he sighs deeply.

How long until The Man comes back to torture him further?

His thoughts are interrupted as his stomach begins to ache in hunger. How long ago was his last meal? Just as his thoughts begin wandering back, the skin on his right thigh begins to burn. He bounces the leg to try to alleviate the growing pain, but it only becomes worse and more widespread. With his hands still bound behind him and a blindfold covering his eyes, he has no way to discover what is causing the mystery pain.

Jungkook grunts in pain as the blade drags across his skin. It's been three days since he was released from the hospital, and his mind hasn't stopped reeling over what Yoongi showed him. The scars full of conversations, full of desperation and uncertainty. Finally, just a few hours ago, Jungkook mustered up the courage to ask him for the support he needed to get through it.

He barely gets a two centimeter line carved into his pale skin before ge lifts the razer and sighs. "It hurts too much. I can't do it." He furrows his brows and looks up at his audience- Yoongi, Jimin, and Hoseok.

Hoseok smiles reassuringly and rests a hand on his arm, giving it a squeeze. "You don't have to do this."

"No, I do." Jungkook lets out one last deep sigh before lowering the blade to his leg again. Not stopping to give himself enough time to even think about hesitating, he carves a full question into his thigh, right below the hem of his boxers.

WHERE ARE YOU

"What now?" Jungkook's sweating and shaking and bleeding and suddenly all this feels like a little too much.

Yoongi hands him a wad of paper towels and sits back into his butt. "We wait."

It's been days since Jungkook tried to reach out to his soulmate, to which there was no response. Hopeless doesn't even begin to describe how he feels. It seems that the others have noticed, too, because the three that helped him initiate this haven't left his side. And it's not like he can run away and hide- he's confined to a wheelchair for the next six weeks.

However, as he's laying in bed, preparing for sleep only four days after his attempt, he gets the first signs of hope.

"Jimin!" he shouts as he feels the annoying irk of nails being raked across his lower back. "Jimin, something's happening!"

In an instant, Jimin's by his side. "What's wrong?" he asks in a tired, yet concerned, voice.

"Something's happening. My back."

Jimin helps Jungkook flip onto his stomach and pulls his shirt up to reveal the entirety of his back. "Oh shit," he breathes out. "Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit!"

"What, what is it?" Jungkook's suddenly terrified and excited and something else he can't quite describe and everything comes crashing down in a matter of seconds, leaving him feeling more helpless than ever before, but so full of hope.

"It says, 'HELP,'."

Strangers Part 3

Jungkook's fully flabbergasted. Why the actual fuck would someone like Kim Taehyung have interest in someone like Jeon Jungkook. It has to be some kind of cruel joke.

Still staring dumbly at his phone, he blinks a few times just to make sure he's not seeing things before he starts typing. Act normal.

Taking a deep breath, he types out his totally mundane and not at all awkward, hopefully, reply, then rereads it three times just to be sure before actually hitting send.

KookieJar: Hey! Long time no see, Stranger!

Taehyung chuckles to himself as he shovels another spoonful of cocopuffs into his mouth. It's weird putting a face to the disembodied personality he barely knows. The kid's handsome, to put it lightly. His jawline's sharp enough to cut paper and his thighs look like they could strangle a fucking moose.

You: that's what I'm saying lol But how'd your tests go the other day?

Finished with his bowl, Taehyung moves to put his dishes in the sink, but stops when his phone dings with a notification. He quickly reaches for his phone and finds another message.

KookieJar: Ass, probably. It'll be a wonder if I make it back to SLIU next semester with my grades tbh

Taehyung's mouth falls agape. No fucking way this kid goes to SLIU, too. He looks around as if Jimin is going to find him and take his phone before he replies.

You: Bro tf you go to SLIU I'm fucking flabbergasted

Finishing cleaning up like he originally intended, Taehyung pockets his phone and moves to the living-room-area-thing of his small apartment. He's quick to grab his phone when it goes off again.

KookieJar: lol yeah why?

Taehyung replies instantly, no fucks given about the two minute rule.

You: wtffff I go to SLIU. I'm a sophomore

Jungkook throws his phone down onto his bed and screams inwardly. What the fuck, how the fuck, and fucckkk are the only things going through his head as he paces around his room. How is it possible that he missed a fucking pornstar-looking-hot-as-fuck-model-guy walking around campus? Picking up his phone, he responds the only safe way he knows.

You: oh

A new message pops up before he can even think about regretting his decisions.

Tae95Bae: We should definitely hang out sometime! Omggg we could go to Six Flags! It's only like thirty minutes from here

Jungkook doesn't even blink before he starts typing again, head running wild with Why the fuck is a Kim Taehyung even interested in me and why am I playing along?

You: Only if there's some restrooms we can mess up

He grins at his own cheeky flirting until he reads the next message and his stomach, heart, and dick all jump at once.

Tae95Bae: Come to my place on Friday and it's a date ;)

Tae95Bae: oh, apartment 475. Be here around 6ish?

Wow it's been for FUCKING ever but here I am. College got the best of me and I kind of stopped KPooping all together. My dog Chica had a nightmare last night. She doesn’t have them very often but when she does she’ll let out this adorable little howl that startles herself awake. She was a little shaken up about it but after a few snuggles in the hooman bed (usually off limits for doggos) she was happy as can be. After a while she hopped down to her own bed and drifted off into a peaceful pupper snooze. And I thought that was the end of it.

But I had a nightmare too. Now that’s not entirely uncommon, I have them fairly often and they’re something that I’ve gotten used to. But this one was a bad one.

The bad ones are the ones that I don’t wake up from. They’re the ones where my friends or loved ones are hurt in front of me and the only thing I can do is watch and cry and scream in the mad hope that it’s all just some terrible dream. Nothing ever happens to me in these dreams so I’m trapped within until I wake up of my own accord. But tonight was different.

Tonight, I felt something lick my hand and woke up in a cold sweat. There on the side of my bed was Chica, licking my hand and looking up at me with concern. Now I’m not sure how much a dog understands about nightmares and dreams and such, but she’s never woken me up from a nightmare before. I’d like to think that some part of her recognized what I was going through and she just wanted to wake me up to protect me from the scary monsters. I have never been more grateful to have Chica by my side than in that moment.

So I let her hop up on the hooman bed (twice in one night, oh boy!) and after a few snuggles I was happy as can be.

So I somehow barely saw the anons that were answered awhile back about tips for learning Korean, and since I didn’t get to answer any and they ended up being buried by our shitposting lmao, I decided to do a little “Masterpost” of sorts to (try to) help further your need to learn this great language 😂

One of the first things a lot of my Korean friends tell me to learn first is the Korean alphabet, or 한글, and learning how every character sounds. Hangeul was honestly really the simplest thing to learn, unlike many other Asian languages (ex; Japanese or Chinese), Hangeul consists of 14 consonants and 10 vowels. It may seem super intimidating at first, trust me I thought so too- but it really is incredibly simple to learn; honestly, if you wanted you could learn it within a few hours.

Since I’m not the best at explaining things- nor am I a great teacher lol; I’ll type out Hangeul for you as well as list a few easy Korean words or phrases, for you to know and memorize as you continue learning~

The consonants;

ㄱ ㄴ ㄷ ㄹ ㅁ ㅂ ㅅ ㅇ ㅈ ㅊ ㅋ ㅌ ㅍ ㅎ

The vowels;

ㅏ ㅑ ㅓ ㅕ ㅗ ㅛ ㅜ ㅠ ㅡ ㅣ

Here’s a little list of the videos I watched when I first began learning Korean; Pronounce the alphabet Write the alphabet (basic consonants and vowels)

Besides needing to memorize Hangeul, you’ll also have to learn the double consonants as well the diphthongs(complex vowels). Again, it sounds like a lot, but it truly isn’t and learning these will help s o o much when it comes to knowing Korean.

to namjoon; a fan project

hi, hello, how is it going all my lovely people reading this post !!! for those of who who may or may not have known I began a journal around the time I started this blog two years ago, I wrote a namjoon fic series about it called Foreign Sanctuary, and the end game for this journal was to always send it in to him- Kim Namjoon, not for any particular reason, just as one poet to another, one fan to an idol, and one girl to a boy.

with that being said, after two years, the journal is just about filled, and along with it, I want to include some other things from more than just me. Therefore, I want to do a post it project. I have purchased the largest pack of colored sticky notes I could find, and with the messages you guys send in, I plan on putting the sticky notes with your guy’s messages, onto every page that is empty next to a poem. or if needed, create a new book for them altogether.

this probably sounds very lame, but I don’t want this to be a gift just from me, I really want this to be something from a lot of fans who might not have the opportunity to be heard otherwise. And I don’t really have the money to do something super elaborate, so i think this is simple, but sweet and personal.

On a side note, I’d like to just set some vague guidelines:

1) Please understand that this is something for Namjoon, so please keep your messages related to him, yourself or Bangtan as a whole, Also, please keep in mind that while Namjoon deserves the world’s longest essay of appreciation, these messages are going on sticky notes so don’t make it too long
2) Be nice! If you have something mean to say or send in something salty I won’t be putting it in there at all
3) I’d prefer whatever messages you send to be off anon or through dm, so that I can directly reply once it is in, but if you don’t feel comfortable sending in things for him off anon then know that I will most likely be making a thread of some sort where you can track the anonymous messages so you can ensure yours is in. Also remember though, that being off anon is the only way i can credit the message as yours with your url, if not it will just be written as from an army
4) If you’d like to have me print small graphics, drawings, or computer arts, send them to my email, @c8andkips@gmail.com and I will print them on small photo paper and put those in as well
5) If you have any other ideas, or things you’d like me to send, let me know by direct message and we can definitely discuss it. Let’s celebrate this wonderful guy in any way we can <3
