There is a trend I’ve noticed that smut fics tend to be much more popular than anything else and honestly I just want to have something to look at to remind myself and that writing doesn’t have to have sex to be worth putting out into the community.

I never write smut. Not because I have a problem with it (and I do read it), not because I think it “shouldn’t be in fic”, but rather because I’m very well aware I would be terrrrrrrible at writing it. But I don’t think my fics suffer for the lack of it.

the humble "like" is oft mocked despite what it does for us. "like, three people" is a vastly different statement from "three people".
