Elide rolled her eyes as she pulled on her short boots. "In the dryer where your laundry still is, babe!"

"Dammit!" With a bout of muffled cursing and a series of thumps and grunts--her boyfriend was many things, but graceful was not one of them--Lorcan jogged down the hall and through the living room, stopping to openly admire his girlfriend's outfit before he ducked into the laundry room.

"You look amazing, shortcake."

So. I came up with my old username when I was 11 and going through an Amy Winehouse phase. I wanted to change my it after turning this old account into a TOG fan thing, and the way it bothered me got progressively worse until that gloomy thing and its number in the middle gave me the ick 😆

I had a customer come in today and do the most customer thing possible... they arrived in the shop 4 minutes before we closed, and then asked us to find a book that she had seen on "some channel on the TV" the night before and that all she knew about it was it could have been "a paperback and may have been a white cover"

I genuinely can't make this shit up

this is the same customer that comes in and complains when someone is sitting in the chair we have downstairs and then asks us to get them to move... and then moans for 10 minutes about how we should have more seating so that people "can sit and read for a while"...

Lidia being confirmed as a Galaythnius descendant was the best part of the book… the way I already thought she was and still gasped at the confirmation though!!
