Septum difficulties [Dabi/Reader]
Summary: Y/N is horrible with changing her septum jewelry, Dabi decides to help ;)
A/N Purely inspired by my own inability to change any of my piercings. Why is it so damn hard? Anyway, enjoy!
P.S I imagine that this isn’t the last time it happens... so if there WAS a part two, i’m guessing he would take out his annoyance on a certain someone :) (Innocent smile)

“Holy shit, I give up!” You shouted out of pure frustration. After deciding to change the Jewlery of your septum piercing, you quickly realized that the new cones on the end of the hoop were extra fiddly, making you instantly regret the decision. Regret to the point you were questioning how badly you wanted the piercing anymore. Trying to screw the tiny spike on a relentlessly and spending a ridiculous amount of time doing nothing but that you finally reached the breaking point, alerting the only other person in the building with you. Dabi. He had been trying to ignore all your groans and sighs so that he could preserve his own peace and not get involved, but with every shout that came from you the annoyance had only started bubbling more and more.
So when he practically burst into your room, you were nothing short of startled. Which normally wouldn’t have bothered you, if you hadn’t jumped and dropped the same tiny ending of the jewelry you were desperately trying to put on to close the septum ring. Hearing the clink of it bounce somewhere in the room you scream, now even more frustrated. “No-! What the fuck Dabi, I’ve been trying to this for hours and now i can’t even find it!” You instantly start looking over at the hardwood flooring, searching for it, even getting on your hands and knees.
“Relax dipshit,” He sighs, almost sounding more stressed than you as he walks over, standing in front of you. He squats down reaching for something, picking it up and showing it to you. There it was in all its glory. It might as well be glowing. You carefully take it from his hands and put it down safely in a little container. “Your eyesight is horrible [Y/N], I don’t know how you get anything done,” He stands up, shoving his hands into his pockets. “Now can you shut it with all the complaining and sighing, it’s pissing me off. The one time all of those other annoying freaks aren’t here and I still can’t get any peace and quiet because of you.” The rasp of his voice sounds more... prevalent than usual.
You stand up to face him, deciding the compromising position on the floor would be a bit embarrassing now. Rolling your eyes at him, you say, “I can’t help it, I’ve been trying for hours to get this shit in. If I don’t it could fall out but it’s not working! Every time i get it into the right position, I can't twist it tight enough and then i drop it and have to so it all over again-” His expression tells you he’s only getting more pissed by the second, so when he walks over to you, you completely shut up as your heart begins to race.
“Sit down” He commands you, looking down at you. Has he always been that tall or did you get shorter all of a sudden? With no hesitation you sit down, facing him. “What are you-” You don’t even get finish your sentence before he replies, “Shut up and look at me brat,” He places a hand gently on your chin, slowly lifting it to force you to make eye contact. You were so focused on how his touch was making your face heat up that you didn’t notice him grab the forsaken cone for your septum ring. “Don’t move,” He demands as held your face still, his touch lingering on your skin, making you feel fuzzy in your chest. He screws it in with ease, merely taking a few seconds, and then leans over to be at the same height.
Was it normal for his lips to be so close to yours? The slightest movement would make them touch right now. You couldn’t stop staring at them. “Now if you bother me again with something as stupid as this, I will make you regret it. Got that sweetheart?” You were speechless. He stayed there for barely a few seconds but to you it felt like an eternity. Pulling away, he walked off, a smug look plastered across his face like usual. Safe to say, he knew he was going to have some peace for at least the rest of the day.
