My main Sims game is Sims 2. As for my non-sims comfort game? It'd have to be either Harvest Moon or Animal Crossing!

This is a suggestion for the ts2 community to make finding cc easier. It's not a big problem, but sometimes I still make this mistake, so it's also a reminder for myself.

When answering WCIFs, name the cc item or mod, its creators and any other information that would be useful to identify where it came from. Don't just say "It's here" and paste the link. Knowing the information could save a lot of time if the original download post goes down. Include a picture of the item if you can.

Similarly, when you share something, type a descriptive title in text, so it's easier to find through google. Don't just use a title card.

Also, this is not as common anymore, but if you're going to name your cc after a song, make sure your file names include some kind of basic description of the item, or a put a preview picture in your zip/rar/7z file.

Christmas in July Advent Calendar Day 2: 10 Supermarket Aisle Signs (in Simlish & English)

Just a little present - a lot of these advent gifts will be quite small. I have actually been sitting on these for months and months, since like, two computers ago. 10 recolours of “Mr. Generic’s Sign – The Ceiling Model” made to look like supermarket aisles, in English and Simlish (which I guess technically makes 20 recolours). There are generally more aisles in a real supermarket but I think anything more complex than that would be hell to play in The Sims. Requires OFB.

Archiving the Keep

As some of you may have noticed, the Plumb Bob Keep site has been down for several days. At this time, we do not know anything about the future of the site; we have no contact with Sunni's family, who pay for it. Since the future of the site is uncertain, we are calling for all hands on deck to help us try to archive as much of the downloads as possible: images, text, links and actual download zips. We will primarily be using the Wayback Machine, but as Google searching was only turned on in the last year, many things will not be accessible. Fire_flower has created a spreadsheet to help organize the effort and allow us to see where the gaps are. This will be step one of the process, before we dive into our personal collections.

If you would like to help out, please add your name to the spreadsheet linked below. Large sections might need 2 or more people to team up.
