a/n: the lore behind Guizhong and Zhongli is lightly used as the base of this series hence i stated that this is a semi-Genshin Impact AU. I've made some changes to the lore i used so it's not the same. the time after this lore is mostly original, with some resemblance to current the Teyvat we play the game in.

a/n: this is written with a headcanon for zhongli that sprung up in my head while I'm playing around with my house in the serenitea teapot, designed with zhongli in my thoughts. then when I happen to come across this fanart above on pinterest after that, the zhongli's domestic headcanon i was playing around with was complete!

background: this scenario takes place during the mid-autumn festival - as quoted from wikipedia - it is the second-most important holiday after Chinese New Year with a history dating back 3,000 years, when China's emperors worshipped the moon for bountiful harvests.[2] The celebration is called Chuseok (autumn eve) in Korea, Tsukimi (moon-viewing) in Japan and Tết Trung Thu (Mid-Autumn Festival) in Vietnam
this event celebrated by the chinese is usually spent eating mooncakes and drinking teas. lanterns are also an important aspect of this festival. unlike the yuanxiao fesitval or mingxiao festival (which is the fictional festival featuring best boy Xiao in GI) where lanterns are released into the sky, lanterns are hand-held. this is a festival i celebrate every year hence i'm familiar with it — feel free to read up about this on wiki!

I’m back and back with a new obsession.
Genshin Impact.
This game is an absolute GEM.
Genshin Impact is an open-world (gacha game) MMORPG made available on iPhones, Androids, PC and PS4 by the Chinese company Mihoyo.
The graphics are so good (I’m a sucker for good graphics esp. in games) and the storylines are RICH and really interesting. The game is in 3D which I appreciate <3 The OSTs are AMAZING. And last but definitely not the least, the characters - handsome men and beautiful women! (I chose to play this game Japanese dubbed and the voices of the characters are music to my ears!)
All these and the game is FREE...like what? (though there are some $$$ needed if you wanna get more characters/weapons etc. I mean, duh it’s a gacha game at the core afterall)
I can totally see myself writing for Genshin Impact one day!
Anyway, I’m back as I’ve mention in the title of this post! I will start writing again from next week onwards!
