hiii GM for both campaigns here! Definite plans to get back into Babes in the Woods soon and see it through. Babes is my 5th (!!) time DMing CoS since 2016, so ASOIAF has been a much much needed breath of fresh air after 8 straight years in Barovia.
Since I only run ASOIAF for 2 players (one of which I live with!) it's become our current campaign for a little bit whilst I recover from that burnout. I'm super proud of the work I put into this one (and the insane art @pigeon-princess has been putting out- and still has yet to) and I am so so excited for us to share what we've been doing in George's Sandbox.
I'm very conscious of the fact that it's my players' first time playing Curse of Strahd (Seriously- after 2 years I'm still stunned that NONE of them have run into spoilers), so I really do my best to make sure the experience feels unique to them and the characters they've created. Which means a LOT of homebrew work goes into planning each session (incorporating Greyhawk lore into Ravenloft is not for the faint of heart). Ultimately that means a little more time between sessions, but hopefully my players agree that they're worth the wait!
Don't fret though- the consequences of these Wizards' actions are firmly on the horizon once I'm recharged and refreshed 😊 Krezk is on the list of things to do, and the party sent a couple of siblings there without thinking, if I'm not mistaken...
