#i find it increasingly off-putting#i say this as a longtime gayass#i don't need characters to be 'canonically queer' i can find the undertones in the shadows dancing on the walls of a cave#lol i wrote those tags in a hurry earlier but i do think what it boils down to is exactly what my treasured mutuals have been saying since#namely that if 'it's queer' is the only thing you can say about a piece of media then it's probably not very good#like.. what about plot and characterisation? you guys used to love plot and characterisation
