Soul(mate)s of Light: A SatoGou AU - Master Post

Now that the Pokémon Journeys cicle came to an end yesterday in Japan I thought it was time to give a title to my SatoGou AU series that never had a specific naming. Although there’s the “Litten’s Narrative” fanfiction series, this only cover a part of Ash and Goh’s lives and all under the perspective of Hope’s Litten.

To englobe Litten’s stories, the separated fanfic texts and their future lives portrayed in illustrations and comics I’m naming my SatoGou AU as “Soul(mate)s of Light”. The title refers to Ash and Goh’s Pokémon Spirits of Solgaleo and Lunala, respectively, whose Pokémon are known as the Light Duo; yet it also refers to the relationship between the two characters because I believe in the thesis that when one’s destined to the other, they reencounter themselves through time and space and life reincarnations.

Already existing content will be updated to include the hashtags #Soul(mate)s of Light , #Soulmates of Light to be easier to find these contents in the tumblr search engine. Future works will also include these tags.

Original text: I never thought in early 2020 that what I initially started to draw as a small play for fun would turn out into an alternate universe of mine with comic strips, illustrations and written stories that are all connected between themselves.

And something I’ve even less predicted would be the lovely messages and positive feedback I’ve been getting from people in the course of time. Suddenly I have, by the time of writing this post, over 750 followers (Edit 4/12/2022: Now almost 1500!). It’s crazy, I’m pretty certain I had less than 50 in early 2020. Thank you so much to everyone that’s sticking around with me and for your herculean patience to deal with my fluff, I just love the chemistry of these two boys very much. So why not imagining a scenario where a romantic relationship happened to be canon? The possibilities!

Considering it might be difficult for new followers to keep up with my content, I thought it was better to create this Master Post for an easier catch up of content I’ve created up to date. Some earlier illustrated works will probably go through a Version 2/Revision with improved lining and other fixes because I feel I’ve improved in a few things with the time. The same goes for fanfiction texts where I’m gradually fixing grammar snags or alter minor/medium-sized things!

Some drawings might look odd or very inconsistent and that can be justified by the time they were drawn.
