the SA at cláirés are rly unattentive where i live, so i tend to just pretend im looking at products on a lower shelf and bag it real quick. keep an eye out for mirrors though.

with urbæn, i go to the sales section which tends to be rly messy and conceal there amongst the clutter

I got caught, and Arrested

Guys, I’m sorry I’ve been gone for so long but there has been a reason… I got caught, bad. Not by the store, not by parents, friends, loved ones, but the cops. I was arrested, I’m awaiting a court date, and the fine could be upwards of $15,000 I’m never going near an Ulta again, never.

Now here’s the tough part.. I’m sixteen, I’m between jobs, and my parents aren’t going to pay the fine when it comes, I don’t know how long I have until the court date comes but I know it most likely won’t be enough for me to get the funds up myself, and as much as I hate doing this- I need help… I set up a go fund me, and even if it’s a few bucks or a couple of cents it will help me more then you know, the link will be at the bottom of his post and guys, I’m sorry, but I definitely won’t be posting any new hauls for a long time and I’m lucky enough to be able to post this right now with how down my throat my parents have been since I was caught. Love you all, and I hope you never get put in this situation….

Sorry this happened love. What happened?

I was grabbing a couple(four, two of which were lipstick tubes) of things from Ult@ and it was the end of the day, a huge rush of loud kids ran into the store making a giant mess of he place and had all of the SAs on edge and eagle eyed. Unlike usual, I had someone planning on picking me up.. Only they pulled up right to the building. I guess one of the SAs saw me grab something and then go out to the car so they called the car into the cops and we got pulled over in the middle of town by four cruisers. They searched my bags and found the merchandise I had been planning on gifting to a friend and her sister. Long story short, a bunch of teen’s rushed the Ult@ and got the SA’s on high alert, so now I’m facing a possible $1,500 fine I have to pay myself even though I’m in between jobs and don’t know when the fine will be due And parents that hate me more now then they already did..

I’m so sorry. I hope we can learn from this to be extra aware of our saroundings.

I’m surprised they gave you a court date, however you most likely will not be paying a fine for only 4 items. They will give you a slap on the wrist, community service/classes, and call it a day. You are still underage and they tend to be lenient in court with shoplifting if it’s under $500 and it’s your first offense. It is odd they came by with 4 cruisers, but that may be due to living in a low crime area. You shouldn’t panic too much, they mostly want to scare you straight in this situation.
