tired: Han Solo jealous of luke and Leia as a potential couple

wired: Han Solo jealous of luke and leia’s closeness that comes from l and l both being queer

Plot twist I return to writing fic but only one shots about various hijinks of gay skywalkers

- leia trying to give Luke a talk about how it’s ok to be gay, thinking he must have grown up without support, but actually Tattooine has a thriving gay nightlife scene and it’s a little weird that you made that assumption Leia

- Han and Leia pursue the same hot pilot

- undercover dating for a mission but it’s HanLuke edition, Leia is jealous in the background

- undercover dating for a mission but it’s LukeLeia edition and they need to be coached into how to act believably heterosexual.

- han worries to Chewie about how to make sure his new queer friends know he supports them. He tries to have slick conversations with them about being you know Supportive

I’m tired grad school is tiring I just want to write dumb gay Star Wars

I'm so lazy it's like I don't want to do a prompt thing I just want people to tell me what they'd like to read from me which !! So much work to put on other people

but also if you've ever wanted like a particular story from me

now's the time

Getting some comments saying they're glad I'm back -- I am going to try to be writing again, as I could use the outlet now that I'm in grad school. but I'm going to try to stick to one-shots, for now, since my schedule is unpredictable. I was going to post here being like "if anyone has any scenes or scenarios in particular they'd like to see me tackle, tell me!" but then I remembered I constantly get anti-feminist anonymous hate, but then I remembered i can turn off anonymous messages! Woohoo!

Paperwork. If you’d asked Leia Organa how she imagined herself spending the waning days of war, should she be so lucky to see them, paperwork would not have been her answer. The term’s archaism – paper? Like from trees? – was a testament to the task’s tediousness.

Also, it was leading her dangerously close to identity crisis territory. But really, mostly she just found it boring, that was the main issue. Boring and weird, out of place. Nothing to do with the questions the forms were asking her. No, really.

The forms were for her new identification credentials. Their embryonic government had recently adopted some legitimizing bureaucratic measures, and everyone having papers was a part of that, said papers being a step towards normalcy, lawfulness, order. Red tape, Leia thought privately, red tape and theatre, a waste of time and energy that could go towards actual liberation, but, well, that hadn’t been her decision. Anyway, she’d need ID eventually. It made sense.

Her old identification materials were long gone. Any documents referencing “Alderaan” had been purged from the Empire’s records, declared falsified or invalid. There was no Alderaan, so any birth certificate or marriage license referencing it was illegitimate. It was the logic under which any surviving off-world Alderaanians had been detained in labor camps until just a few months ago. It was the logic of Empire, of bureaucracy – even of well-meaning New Republic forms that only accepted “Alderaan” as one’s “Planet of Origin” if one’s birth was before that awful date. Paperwork has politics, Leia thought, frowning at her datapad.

hey look now it’s on the websites

literally no new content just crossposting

I wonder what part of this fic, exactly, triggered that anon’s gender issues panic button… Your depiction of Leia’s loss materializing as a bit of an identity crisis? Her having a haircut? You writing Leia, period? What is it??

Anyway, I liked this so much. There were actually some very interesting things to think about, would they still call it paperwork if there’s no paper, does ‘planet of birth’ really work in the GFFA as a category, where does Alderaan fit into Leia’s identity if she was neither born nor does she reside there? I loved Leia’s decision and Han’s reaction to it. And I totally think this is good to share as is unless it’s part of a bigger story, which I’d be excited to read :)

Thank you!! I also do not know what that anon’s problem was. I’m glad you enjoyed it / found it interesting though! I did envision it as part of something longer but if it stands alone may be worth posting? I’m glad I shared it here though!

Different Anon here. Figured I would jump on the bandwagon as well. Just wanted to point out that I’m sure any of the fics you’ve written would be wonderful and we would all love to read them. Just saying. 🥰

None of it is really complete is the main issue!

Are you doing ok? Just wanted to check in. We lost touch but I worry about you sometimes, in as non-creepy a way as is possible

Not creepy at all! I miss you all. Whoever you are, feel free to reach out via messaging or non-anon.

Basically — I was pretty sick... but then I got better! And then I got a job! And then most recently I got into grad school! I still read fic and write a little but nothing worth posting, but maybe that will change! I feel very warmly towards this lil community though so always feel free to reach out.

this is completely serious and not judgemental at all but a genuine question as like a lesbian 23yo from a secular background in the north east like : do people actually use the phrase “make love” (or its variants) in real life or is that just a fanfic thing

what if instead of planning multi chapter fics but then getting sick and not following through over and over and over

I just wrote some shorter fics

Ok I started working in a shorter fic about Luke and Anakin and peripherally Han Leia and baby Ben
