Wendy came out of seemingly nowhere when she grabbed Jack from behind to drag him deeper into the forest, sharp claws ripping cloth and peircing skin.

She’d caught him off guard, to be sure, and he’d immediately gone for his sword before recognizing her and hesitating.

“Wendy? Wait, what are you doing!? Stop this, you… it hurts!”

What was going on!?

“Thank you. I decorated it myself.” The was a potted plant on the kitchen counter that she petted as she walked by. It leaned into her hand and made what was probably supposed to be a purring noise. The plant would give Jack a sharp toothed smile.

It didn’t take long before Wednesday had pulled out a rather large first aid kit and was holding it out to Jack. “Do you need any help dressing your wounds?”

Regardless how the plant seemed friendly towards wednesday, jack decided it might be better to give it a wide berth just in case.

When she handed him the kit, he smiled and accepted it gratefully.

“That should not be necessary. This is not the first time I have done so.”

He’d only used actual first aid kits a once or twice before, and this one seemed to have everything imaginable. He probably wouldn’t know what to even do with most of what was inside… especially is his difficulty even getting it open was any indication…

“On second thought…”

Wednesday reached over to help him get it open. Seems there were some unimaginable things in this kit as well (was that a jar of bugs or black mist?), but she simply pulled out the gauze and disinfectant. "Here you go. Is anything deep enough to need stitches?"

They’d exchange some quiet words together before Wendy would reluctantly set Wednesday back onto the ground, arm still around her waist as they walked over.

“Hello Jack, I’m Wednesday. Wendy told me you’re dealing with a sort of evil that doesn’t play fair.” She only came to Wendy’s shoulder in height, but there was a dangerous sort of energy around the gothic woman as she held out her hand to shake Jack’s.

He gave the dark woman a smile and accepted the offered hand. If he had met her in any other situation, he likely would have been much more wary based on the sort of vibe she gave off.

“Greetings… and yes that is one way to put it. But I have no intention of letting any harm come to you or any of your family, let me assure you.”

Her expressions were rather muted, especially compared to her reaction to seeing Wendy moments earlier, but she had a kind smile. “Your assurances are appreciated. Wendy trusts you.” She turned her gaze to her wife. “You’re going to go borrow Excalibor aren’t you?”

Wendy nodded. “Yes, I still need to head over to see papa.” She pursed her lips thoughtfully. “If you wanted you could stay here and wait Jack.”

“If that would be alright, yes. And perhaps if I could borrow some supplies to take care of… well…”

He put a hand up his shoulder, the wounds she’d inflicted earlier still raw.

"Right of course, Love can you?" Wendy spoke a bit stiffly.

"Of course Darling. Be safe." Wednesday gave Wendy a worried gaze. And with a hug and kiss goodbye Wendy would slip away behind the nearest tree. Leaving her wife to sigh for a moment at the loss.

"Come on inside, Jack. There's a first aide kit in the kitchen that should have what you need."

The interior was the same sort of mix of colorful and darkness the outside had been, but there were the obvious signs of children accompanying them. A lived in /and/ haunted sort of vibe.

Wendy shrugged. “I tried. Just, be aware that my other half isn’t an honorable fighter. We’ve killed people and.. yeah. I thought you should know that.” She really wasn’t sure about telling him all this.

“I appreciate the warning. I will take care not to put myself in a situation where we would need to fight for real.”

Wendy glanced over at him, trying to read his face. That had been a lot less of a reaction than she was expecting from someone like him… but it was nice. She nodded. “Right, well, almost home.”

It wouldn’t be long before a home painted black was seen. While not as large as the original Addams’s family home, it was still a decent size and had a creepiness to it, despite the colorful flowers in its garden, that would strike most people with an uneasiness. Wendy would speed up a bit, smiling.

He knew better than to judge for things done out of necessity. Not everyone fought mostly robots…

The house was… well, for all it should have been unnerving. It was obviously a home. And he had seen stranger ones by far.

A pale woman dressed all in black sitting on the porch swing reading could be seen.

The closer they got the antsier Wendy got until finally she spoke up, "I'm sorry, but it's been 7 months for me." And sprinted off ahead, vaulting over the yard's short fence when she got to it.

"WEDNESDAY MY LOVE!" The shorter woman would be standing and smiling by the time Wendy got there to sweep her off her feet and kiss her wife deeply.

“Jack, someone tried to pull the two wolfs apparent. There’s two different people up here.” She tapped her temple. “You are generally speak to the tame one, which is me.”

“A sword made in righteous makes my skin crawl, because I’d be dead without my other half, which you were fighting and talking to earlier.”

That answered a few questions…

“I see… but as you said, everyone has two, do they not? Even if yours is… more obvious.”

Wendy nodded. "Sort of." She could have explained this better. "People arent supposed to be pulled apart."

Spirit Animal: Muse is turned into a panther for 12 hours.

You might think that getting turning into a panther was an inconvenience, but Wendy honestly can’t get mad at this spell.

She’s just gonna spend the day hanging out with cats as usual. While she does hope she’ll change back before she has to eat, she’s not too worried.
