Hello there dear friends, I wanted to share with you this magical being who visited me in my garden recently, the hummingbird hawk moth dancing her dance to the song of creation. I guess I've been on an unplanned sabbatical of sorts , or at least that's the sophisticated way of saying, I just had to step back from it all and breathe. What extraordinary days we are walking in. It takes a lot hey, a lot of trust, love and faith in this creation journey we are all so intimately involved with, to stay heart centred in the midst of all that is unfolding. But for me, that is the invitation and I believe the gift of 2020, the opportunity to take stock and dream a new and beautiful restorative dream for our people and for our Mother planet, to say YES to our sovereign self, to Life itself, and in so doing to leave behind all that no longer truly serves us and the miraculous web of life that we are wholly part of and dependant on. Deep in my heart and soul, in my very cells, I hear an ancient love song being sung, back through the millennia from all the ones who came before us, all our ancestors human and non human, from the heart of our Mother Gaia, through the starlight and into the stars, back to the very source that sparked this whole cosmic dance into motion, calling us Home, but not calling us back, Home, here, where we are, in every precious breath and step we take. Forgive me, it’s been a while...but I know it’s not just me that hears that ancient love song and well, this morning it felt right to give it a shout out. And so, entirely related to this topic I wanted to let you know about a web based interview series called " A Magnificent New Normal" in which a wonderful bunch of folk are invited by Jeffrey Smith to share their thoughts and visions for these tumultuous days and the ones going forward. All the interviews are available for ten days and are free unless you want to keep them. I have just listened to Lynne Twist of the Pachamama Alliance and I have to say its worth signing up for her deeply moving and inspiring sharing alone. I'm not sure how it happened but I also ended up in the programme for this Saturday ( tomorrow ) which felt like some kind of excruciating cosmic trick. I tried to say no when I realised what it was and who else was involved but Jeffrey somehow talked me into it, so I'm in there rambling away without a plan but trying to shoot from the heart. I have no idea how it turned out, eek! Don't be fooled by my presence though, it's full of some real gems and and some deeply important, heart nourishing wisdom I promise.
