Signal Boost please 🙏🏾

I was debating on even posting this because I really don’t like asking for help… I usually suffer on my own until I fix the issue; but I’m unemployed, living off my savings and I recently had surgery.

But today I took my cat, Yoda in to the vet to find out that he has some sort of bladder infection/UTI (increased WBC, blood in the urine and crystals) and might need to have surgery. I got them to do bloodwork and xrays to see if everything was okay and when everything comes back fine they can unblock him and give him a catheter to help him ($600+). If we have problems, then he’ll have to have surgery which I don’t even want to think about.

Yoda’s been with me 4 years now, he is the first pet I’ve had on my own so knowing that he’s been suffering and hurting lately is really scary. I know there is a pandemic still in play, and everyone is in a weird space right now; but anything you can give will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

**UPDATE**

The vet unblocked Yoda and set him up with a catheter. I took him to the Animal Urgent Care so they could flush his bladder and observe him overnight. So we’re looking good. Bad news is, it’s $400 for this care.

It’s looking like they’re going to keep him for a full 36 hours to remove his catheter. I’m having to transfer him back and forth from banfield to the Animal Urgent Care for this and so far it’s going to bring me to another $200.

Yoda is back and doing well after being gone for 3 days. 😭 The total of his treatments came close to $2000. So again if anyone can help, please reblog or donate. Thank you.
