I really hate doing this, but...
I’m just really not enjoying my time here any more. It all feels like a chore. I just accumulate draft after draft. It doesn’t feel like Lillie is maintaining any lasting relationships with other muses off Discord. The dash is full of really dark and serious plots that I don’t want to jump into. I don’t remember the last time I was able to do an ask meme.
It doesn’t feel like it used to. I remember logging in every day because I wanted a smile or a laugh, and feeling like tumblr RP was a really positive place where I could go to get away from the stress in my life. And I haven’t felt that feeling in months. I’ve been chasing after it for months, and...that’s probably not healthy.
It hurts to do this. This blog was a huge part of me last winter and spring, and I have so many positive memories here. I don’t want it to end. But I’m just not happy here any more. I need to take better care of myself, and some of that involves me stepping away from this blog, however long it takes. I could be back next week, or never. I really don’t know.
I’ll still be around on Discord, though I won’t be giving out my Discord to anyone who doesn’t already have it.
I dunno what happened, but my motivation to write threads here has been really low for a few weeks, and at this point it’s just gone entirely. I still have muse for Lillie and I’ve been writing on Discord, but I just stare at my drafts and can’t even start working on them.
I’m gonna take a break for a little while and see if that motivation comes back to me.
Express yourself and your appearance in your own way. There is so much pressure to make your appearance fit a single mold nowadays that I think it’s good to try and remember that your appearance is for you and only you , so do what makes you comfortable
This was Maria’s second time ever on one of the ferries– and although the novelty had not worn off, she was almost proud of how much she now knew to expect. She’d been so nervous the first time!
Now, her Purugly by her side, she was only a little bit dizzy from the constant motion. But that’d pass, too, she hoped.
Holding a cup of tea, she was going to just grab a table for herself– she was usually alone. But the sight of a girl made her pause.
She was wearing the dress she’d made for Christmas.
What were the odds of meeting her Delibird in Disguise recipient, even if it had been the one that had been canceled, then and there?
…She couldn’t not at least try to talk to her… it wasn’t like she knew anybody in Alola yet, anyway…
“Excuse me… are you Lillie?”
No, that was too forward. Perhaps too creepy? She bit her lip, slightly nervous.
“May I sit here?”
Lillie blinked softly as she noticed someone staring at her - or at least at her dress. Well...she couldn’t really blame them. It was a very eye-catching dress, after all - in the best possible ways! Oh, and they were approaching!
“Y-yeah! I’m Lillie Vogel. Assistant Professor of the region. It’s very nice to meet you! Go ahead and take a seat, if you’d like! I don’t bite! My Ninetales might, though, she’s feisty.”
Lillie had no idea who this stranger with a Purugly was, but they seemed nice enough! They certainly didn’t seem threatening.
They’ll have to:
They were over the yo-yo pretty quickly. At a certain point, they stopped propelling the toy with their mind and allowed it to fumble within the girl’s grasp. Hearing out her question, Mew quickly nodded and went to take the yo-yo by its weight, and look it over briefly before trying to tug it out of the girl’s grasp.
“Mew! Mew mew!”
Their voice is projected into the girl’s mind in a language she could understand.
[[Yeah!! It’s super fun! I got all sort of cool tricks with it! Wanna see??]]
Lillie let out a soft “aw” as she fumbled, before happily letting Mew take their yo-yo back! It was worth a fumble if she got a chance to see their tricks!
...wait, did they just talk to her? Lillie’s eyes widened - she had no idea they could do that!
“I-I’d love to see, Mew! I’m sure you’re wonderful at using that yo-yo!”
Thor the Vikavolt has just arrived, dropping a package just before Lillie's feet before flying away. What's inside is a beautiful flower-themed pink Pokéball! " It's empty, but I'm sure it's gonna be a nice home for a cute friend of your soon. Love the badge by the way. - Dosh'Te "
Lillie giggled, unwrapping the present as soon as she could! She’d never seen a Pokeball like this before, and she absolutely loved it! And hearing that Dosh’te loved the badge made her really happy. She always did love it when people liked her gifts.
The quiz where gender stereotypes are categorized and you are given a vague gender range based on how openly you perform masculinity, femininity or lack thereof. Don’t take it too seriously, kids, gender is a myth.

The OSRI scores on two scales: masculinity and femininity. Scores for each scale are set so that that the average score of everyone is 100 (with a standard deviation of 15).
“Yeah, that seems about right!”
when ur muse is just so in love with another muse that it’s ridiculous
“Mew mew~!!”
Look at her go! Maybe she wasn’t perfect with the toy, but she was trying and she was at least partially decent! At some point it seemed like she was fumbling around with it a lot, so Mew used Psychic on the yo-yo to help her do tricks! Like walking the poochyena, or a Slack Trapeze or even a reverse Slack Trapeze! All in all it was a crazy show of moves that she probably wouldn’t think would be possible with her current skills, yet there the yo-yo goes, doing all sorts of crazy maneuvers!
Mew claps their hands excitedly, as though they were cheering her on for her sick moves!
Lillie was just grinning and giggling the entire time, watching the yo-yo twirl around, propelled by her own movements and Mew’s psychic abilities! This was amazing - she’d never had this much fun with a yo-yo before! Never even close. And the fact that Mew was clapping and cheering for her just made it all better!
“This is really fun! Do you play with this a lot, Mew?”
Woops! Looks like the jig is up! Mew’s been spotted and there was no way to hide now - so they flick their tail out and call out to her with a wild and cheery ‘Mew mew~!’ before spinning circles around her! Their movement ceased after the fifth spin, where they would float in front of her while holding out the yo-yo.
Closer inspection reveals that it’s some sort of mix between a Pikachu-themed yo-yo and a eevee-themed yo-yo. The two halves of the toy were separated in design, but functioned the same way. Looks like Mew was offering the toy to her in offer to play!
“Mew~! Mew mew!?”
Lillie couldn’t help but giggle as Mew started flying around her. Aw, that was adorable! She’d always found Mew to be adorable, just from seeing drawings and reading about them, but...in person, they were beyond adorable!
She took a close look at the yo-yo, tilting her head to examine the design. Aw, even the design was cute!
“For me?” she gasped eagerly. “Thank you!”
Lillie carefully took the yo-yo, before starting to spin it around herself, careful not to hit Mew. It was clear she wasn’t very confident with the yo-yo, but she was having a lot of fun!
Lillie hummed softly to herself, sipping on her tea as she sat by the window of the ferry. It was a gorgeous day, the Wingull were chirping, and everything was alright! She was idly “flipping” through Pokedex pages on her Pokedex - an older model with no Rotom - as she drank, trying to see which entries needed more work and research.
She seemed very approachable - especially for anyone interested in the Pokedex.
