Semi-Hiatus
[ This hiatus won’t be too long. Just a few weeks. My activity will be so low that I won’t be on most of the time. I am having to juggle work, packing to move, and appointments i need to make before then. I will be available to talk tho through IMs, and Skype. If you wish to have my skype please feel free to message me. I don’t normally post it publicly. This goes for my other blog @pigdreamer as well. It will only be a few weeks as I move and then settle down there. ]

Rosita smiled as she had taken clothes from the neatly folded pile and placed them neatly into the dresser of her room. The Koala closely helping her with these tasks. They had been doing chores all day and this was the last of it for the night. Her husband already downstairs passed out on his recliner chair as usual. The pair had to keep their casual conversations quiet to not wake him. Rosita bumped Buster lightly with her hip as she giggled softly. ❝ Thanks again, for helping me out....❞ The sow took his hand in hers and closed her eyes. ❝ It...really means a lot to me to have you here.❞ The mother admitted shyly as her tiny hands felt the fur of his hand.
Green hues avoiding his gaze. It was like her mission was to memorize how their hands looked in one another. A soft smile as she started to laugh awkwardly, ❝ I’m sorry. I know I say it a lot...❞ Rosita just wanted to take every chance she had to just thank him for everything he had given her. Confidence, self worth, and happiness. It seemed like it’s been so long since she had felt that.
Another day, another messy morning. Rosita had spent the entire day picking up after the kids, doing laundry, dishes, and deciding what they should have to eat tonight. The sounds of small laughter approaching the door she knew that her children were home. Trotting to the door with a smile on her face, the children piling into the house one by one, and with each piglet she greeted them with a motherly hello.
A small hand touching every piglet head to help her keep count of who was here. When the train of piglets ended she looked around. That was strange. Her head peeked out of the door, but no other piglets were there. It was then she caught the attention of the others. ❝ Where’s Rory, Zoe and George? ❞ All the other children looked around at each other and shrugged. A finger tapped her chin as she closed the door and picked the phone up and dialed their school.
❝ Yes, hello. I was just wondering if my children were staying after school for something.❞ Informing the other on the line who was missing. After a minute, they had concluded that the piglets were in fact not there at the school. Rosita was starting to grow worried. This kids would never go anywhere without telling her. She had a bad feeling and immediately called the authorities. Repeating her situation to whoever answered. Tiny sow feet beginning to pace back and forth. The never imagined something would happen to her dear piglets in this city. Everyone seemed so friendly.

❝ you are the warmest home i will ever, ever find. ❞
It was whispered to him in their embrace—with Buster intending to LEAVE for the night. Tomorrow was another day, & of course he’d come to see her again. The koala had discovered it was one of the best parts of his days, even if he had to work extra otherwise. Quickly, his fur burns WARM upon his face at her words … his heart was definitely not going to quiet down for some time.
❝ I-I wish, ah … I didn’t have to go. You are, after all—my home, as well… ❞
❝ DON’T LET FEAR STOP YOU FROM DOING THE THING YOU LOVE. ❞

❝ You are not fine...❞ The sow responded as she watched the feline attempting to pick himself back up. Small hands reaching out to help him to his feet once more. ❝ You can barely stand on your own. What in the world were you doing? You should be more careful.❞ Rosita scolded as she continued to look worried for his well-being. The mother in her made her think of all the things that could have gone wrong. It also made her want to help him.

What was she like? Oh Mike could write a thousand poems on Nancy’s beauty alone.
“She’s absolutely amazing.” Mike expressed dreamily. “She’s like summer’s day, when she’s sings it’s like church bells are ringing.” Mike wasn’t one to share his feeling often, but when he praised Nancy, oh boy did he praise her. “And she’s one hell of a poker player.” he says with a slight chuckle. “She deserves the world.”
Rosita couldn’t help but smile at his words. He seemed completely and truly in love with this ‘Nancy’. ❝ Sounds like a keeper, Mike.❞ From what she’s heard already, the sow knew they belonged together. She may not like Mike very much, but everyone deserved love. Rosita was happy that Mike, despite who he was, could find someone so dear to him.

Today was one of those days where Becky was a tad bit lazy to cook for she and Lance. The embarrassment of admitting it was way too much for Becky to handle, so she had to suck it up and buy the groceries. She nonchalantly stood on her tip toes, trying to grab the can of peas on the highest shelf, until her feet gave in. This caused the girl to stumble back a bit, into another woman behind her.
Turning around, her quills rustling in the midst of her turning, she apologized quickly to the fairly young mother behind her.
“ Oh my gosh, ma’am, I am SO sorry about that. Are you okay? “
❝ Oh dear-!❞ The sow cried out as she felt the other’s quills poke at her suddenly. Rosita rubbed at her arm and smiled politely as she soothed the pain. It was something she was pretty used to. Sometimes bumping into Ash too many times due to her own clumsiness. A small wave of her hand as she waved off the other’s apology.
❝ It’s alright, dear. Don’t worry about me. I’m alright. You didn’t hurt yourself, did you?❞ Rosita offered up a smile as she looked the young porcupine up and down to see if she had suffered any damage from the collision.
