I wanted to share the PSDs I personally created in use for THIS gifset. Borgia: Faith and Fear and House of the Dragon are incredibly difficult when it comes to coloring for a variety of reasons but I'm pretty pleased with what I came up with for this set. I wanted to offer them out to the community gif makers!

THE OBSESSION — A DEAD BY DAYLIGHT TEMPLATE

I’m back with a new template! This game’s pretty much got a stranglehold on my brain right now, so I wanted to make something to go with it. Two pages, fill it up with pretty much anything you want. This is obviously made with a Dead by Daylight muse in mind, but you’re welcome to switch it up for any other oc! The perk and item backgrounds have rarities sorted with their colors coded. The font here is a mixture of the Roboto family, which can be downloaded here!

I worked hard on this template! You’re welcome to change things around to suit your purposes, but please do not claim this template as your own. Credit isn’t necessary, but please link back to this page if you do use it! You’re also welcome to tag me, but like I said, it’s not necessary. I’d just like to see your work!

GIF LAYOUT/TEMPLATE PACK!

i've had my beloved blog for what feels like forever, but today it turns 13, so in celebration and as a little thank you to all of you for following my nonsense and sticking around, i've decided to share some of my favourite layouts that i've created.

PLEASE credit if you use any of these! either link to this post or the original sets linked below!!! (except of course the sharpening actions!)

HEXAGON LAYOUT - this is my favourite kind of set to make so i hope y'all have as much fun with this as i do. there's two folders of the layout, one is just the reverse of the other depending on how you want your gifs to look, just clip your gifs to each hexagon and watch it all take shape! PALETTE MOVIE POSTER - this psd has folders for each element, so the text layers are labelled in a group, and then the palette boxes are grouped together too, just fill each layer clipped to a palette square with your chosen colour! [first seen here]
LETTERBOXD TEMPLATE - i almost didn't share this one because of the labour of love it was to make, but feel like i'm so proud of it, it deserves to be shared. each movie space is split into a group, and within that there's the folders for the star ratings. you can toggle on/off the heart/review/date (as the ratings change you'll just have to shift over these logos to keep things uniform!) and clip your gif over the shape for the movie poster. DIAMOND MULTI GIF LAYOUT - the most simple of all the layouts, but it got a really great reaction so i'm throwing that in here too, again like the hexagons, there's two versions. one being the reverse of the others, just clip your gifs to each shape. [first seen here]
SHARPEN ACTIONS - VERSION #1 & VERSION #2 - have been asked about sharing these recently so thought i'd add this in, i mostly use version one but occasionally it's too sharp for certain media, so i use version two, which is just the same thing without the last extra sharpening!

hello everyone! someone sent me a message asking me to share how I make my icons so I’ve attempted to make a tutorial going through my steps and I hope it helps. remember, please reblog if you use and find this tutorial useful.

For this tutorial you will need:

  • Photoshop (I use PS 2021 for Mac but any PS will work)
  • Some basic knowledge of photoshop and the tools

that should be everything. I have included images/screenshots in the tutorial as well and you can read it below the cut.

it's actually not very hard, the trick is to find the right shots for this. here's how i did it (reference gifset), under the cut.

for this tutorial i will be: — using photoshop cs5 on windows — assuming you know how to make gifs using the timeline — have basic coloring, sharpening, groups, and layer masks knowledge
