Ok guys, I’m thinking of writing a series containing multiple books based on GOT. It’s kind of my take on the whole prophecy of the prince that was promised and it progresses through multiple eras. Here’s a little teaser to the first book.

“Tywin! Tywin! Don’t run so far, my sweet; you know mother can’t run as much now.” The echo could be heard throughout the walls as the little boy sprinted forward. Stumbling a little, he lost his balance and in his attempt to brace his fall, the little wooden phoenix he always kept with himself fell from his hands onto the floor far away. He doesn’t know where it came from or why he is so attached to it, but he knows he will never let it out of his sight.

Scrambling to his feet, he rushed towards the toy but before he could reach it, somebody else picked it up. “I believe this belongs to you, my lord.” A gentle, loving voice said, making the little boy’s head snap up. He had seen the lady around the palace before. Well, she was not a lady anymore, or maybe she never was to begin with. She was a tall woman with fair skin and long auburn-brown hair, but what stood out about her were her big eyes that could pierce your soul, one green like his and the other a warm shade of dark brown. Those eyes looked so familiar. Where had he seen those eyes before?

A smile tugged on his lips. He felt like he could trust whoever this person was. He reached for the phoenix and the woman handed it to him, a warm smile on her lips. It felt like for a second all the tiredness and sadness vanished from her eyes.

She opened her mouth to say something but before she had the chance a hand latched onto Tywin’s shoulder and turned him around. “There you are! Don’t ever run from me like that again, alright, dear?” His lady mother, who despite her heavily pregnant state had knelt down and was clutching him for dear life said with a gentle yet stern voice. Tywin nodded but looked tried to look back at the enigmatic woman so he could talk to her again. He had so many questions, he didn’t know where to start, but before he could say anything, his mother’s gaze turned harsh, landing on the woman with odd eyes. “I thought I told you to stay away from us! Haven’t you learned your place yet? The king is being too kind to you. If I were in his place I would behead you and get rid of you and your curse for good. If I see you anywhere near my son again, I will personally see to it that you get punished so severely, you’ll regret the day you were born.” The young woman kept her mouth shut and swallowed her pride as she was berated by the Lady. The Lannister picked up her son and turned sharply with her entourage, leaving the girl behind. The girl just stared at their retreating forms. As they turned the corner, little Tywin turned around and waved at her with a smile.

A joyous smile graced the young girl’s lips as she waved back.

“You can’t keep a mother from her child, my lady.”

Intriguing! Who is the woman?

She’s the Mother, the main character of my series. More and more about her will be revealed later on but for now all I can say is that she is related to the prophecy of the prince that was promised and to Tywin Lannister
