Question! I see you have plants and also animals - are your plants safe for them to accidentally eat or do you have to keep them somewhere they can't reach? I'd love to have some plants that I wouldn't have to worry about my cat getting herself poisoned. If that makes sense grammar-wise
So I am extremely lucky that my cat, and my dogs don’t care about plants. How every, on the off chance they ever do get a taste for plants, anything that’s harmful if consumed is kept either in rooms they don’t have access too, or in places they can’t reach.
Thank being said, I don’t keep anything extremely toxic like Lilly’s. The most of what I keep may just cause some GI upset. The ones that can cause a bit more concerning signs like ulcers in the mouth from chomping on the leaves are kept way out of reach.
It’s possible to keep pets and plants, you just need to take precautions. ASPCA has a wonderful list and break down of what’s safe verses what’s not safe.
And remember, just because it’s safe for a reptile doesn’t mean it’s safe for a cat!

Guess who got to hyper focused on finishing their oc (D&D based off of a Beshaba spawned tieflings) and forgot to eat lunch. Look at my baby tho. Look how precious they are.

I’m gonna go crash now, but hey! I finished Raines design for the most part… I still wanna see if I can add in wings at some point (AU anyone?) so they can do the thing. Said thing below. I find it hilarious.
I even did a Timelapse of me finishing them up. I wish I had remembered to hit record from the start. Still new to using Krita. This is only the second bit of art I’ve done with the program.

NPC got the snip snip done the other day. His new mom sent me this photo of him right after he woke up. Nice thing about having a vet is your new mom snips you herself at the office on her day off so you don’t have to stay all day long.
Where did my little kitten go, he’s a whole ass cat now.

What does a vet tech do on their day off?
Meal prep.
Ya think I made enough chili? The pots like 3/4 the way full and too heavy for me to move. 😅 this is why I have a vacuum seal food saver. Once this cools I’ll pack it into containers, freeze it, then next weekend vacuum seal all of it so it stays fresh for the next few months.

It’s official! He’s been adopted! He went home with my friend today who just graduated as a vet! Couldn’t have asked for a better home.
