I have a tinfoil hat conspiracy that most Americans are lacking essential nutrients in their diet due to combination of processed food monopolies displacing complex fats and sugars + fiber and diet culture encouraging people to cut calories wherever they can, literally saying a diet coke is healthier than a banana because it’s lower in calories, which makes people feel super tired and depressed all the time and also end up overeating on side dishes/snacks like chips and feeling really bad about it so they eat less the next few days and it just cements the cycle of removing nutrient-dense food (which could be anything from a cheeseburger to a salad, just anything made of actual food) from the diet

honestly I should have known it was #over for nutrition when magazines in the 2000s started harping on how “just because food is natural and homemade doesn’t make it healthy!!”

#if you move more you actually do need to eat more#eat less + move more isn't sustainable#you just gotta eat real food#which: yes food deserts are a thing yes access to whole foods (the... food not the store) is an issue#yes the time to prepare whole foods is a luxury#im just saying if you CAN access healthy whole foods#and you think eating LESS is the answer#you're not gonna get the health outcomes you want

Nah I don't think she's necessarily encouraging conspiracy theories. I mean she definitely does plant clues to things about her albums and announcements and releases and shit, like that's well documented, and I think some of the more... eager... fans have just taken that and run with it to examining every aspect of her personal life. So like she wrote Folklore and Evermore and has said the songs on those albums were fictional, it was all storytelling, but some Swifties have dug into the lyrics insisting it MUST be about Joe. Then when she announced this new album they thought FOR SURE it was gonna be spilling the tea about what went wrong with Joe but like 90% of it is about her rebound relationship with Matty Healy, including at least one song where she seems to be complaining that her fans didn't like him (because he suuuuuuuuucks).

My tags were kinda only tangentially related because it just really bothers me how Swifities act so hard done by for liking her. Any time anyone even mildly criticizes her they go on the attack. It's weird frankly, like it's fine and even fun sometimes to like things other people don't. I don't think it matters if other people don't like your favourite artist. But people act like it's disrespectful to Taylor not to like her.

#one of them is silverstein though so like it barely counts#i love them but theyre still in that “i can see them any time” category for me#which hasnt been strictly true for like 15 years#not in the way it was in 2003#but still

good sensations can sometimes be extreme, and i know i personally enjoy a good few of those, so i wanted to know which of these types of pain are the most commonly enjoyed :)

basically my question is. am i such a touch deprived weirdo that i'll enjoy fucked up sensations no one else likes or am i normal

when I was in high school my dad was speeding like crazy because I was running late to my job at the cemetery. and the cop who pulled him over gave him three whole tickets because who the hell goes 95 in a 25??? but then, when my dad went to court the cop didn’t show, and so the judge looked over at the charges and just couldn’t believe it. he thought the cop must’ve been so racist that he made it up because who the hell goes 95 in a 25? so my dad got all 3 tickets dismissed bc of racism. that he didn’t even experience because he was in fact going 95 in a 25.
