.. and it seems so odd and uncoordinated when there is an effort to keep the timings of the Blog in time and space and effect .. the fingers move to punch all the words and dates and days and timings to the day next as is the recognised practice ..

but change took place and .. took place in time ..

It is a joy when there is express and question in express , and all of them barking up the wrong tree .. it's not the tree its the wrong bark ..

.. there is a delay as may e seen .. and the compensation for that is the 'Bigger' Bold for the birthday greetings .. 😀

But truly .. the work and time load has been a bit involved and the time for the right kind of work has been delayed ..

'right kind' ..? errm .. all times are right times , but this connect with the Ef is supreme .. and hence delays or miss outs of greetings or connects affects ..

so ..

in the middle of the essential gym work the sudden realisation that the Blog needs ti be put out and have therefore rushed to the Janak desk of operational existence, to well .. WRITE ..

and then climb down to the Studio Saptaswar for some essential recordings and the need for some creative music for the peace of mind .. which has been troubled by the happenings all around and the recent visuals of viewing on nuclear expositions ..

.. and an apology ahead of time for the non compliance of the picture gallery that normally follows a Sunday, simply because the quality of the picturesque GOJ , was not up to the mark, as expected .. a change of guard has been the reason .. but hopefully soon there shall be a reversal ..

I shall therefore rush off .. and later at night when most of the World is asleep, I shall return for the DAY of the next and gather enough courage and material to satisfy the hunger of the expectant Ef ..

.. a day of disturbed mind and thought .. on the World and the World we live in , sitting on the pile of Nuclear Weaponry , that has the capacity to 'blow up the World' -

'blow up the World' .. not my words but that of a leader from powerful Nation .. the stockpile of such nuclear bombs, some thousands , if pressed have the capacity to blow up the World ..

And these get in the dining table discussion .. the possibilities , the errors, the mistakes that could trigger off, the false alarms and the consequences .. and of course the decision of ONE man or human .. whether accidentally or 'following on his or her duty on command'

books and articles were brought in , along with the documentaries brought out in such graphic detail ..

any situation of another War holds the fear of such a happening ..

and we wonder .. and ponder .. and gather courage ..

for that is all that can be done ..

AND that song from the film Jagriti - जागृति - in 1954, the first Hindi film I ever saw in Allahabad, now PrayagRaj .. and the words ring so true in what we discuss in 2024 :

the fear among all of the immense arsenal stored within the catacombs of armed warfare in the event of another war .. and the destruction it would cause , if it did take place ..

Well .. the assessment of it occurrence would mean the end of the World , for the capacity held in each device is sufficient to eliminate entire nations .. and all the decisions in the hands and minds of , in almost all cases .. ONE INDIVIDUAL ..

.. how time has kept us all in tune and line .. 1957 Sherwood , Nainital, School Play, Nikolai Gogol's 'The Government Inspector' , Danny Kaye the phenomenal talent, playing the Inspector .. and I use it on stage in Milman Hall for the Annual Concert, where I play the Mayor .. and during a rehearsal, class mate Chris Borthwick, who plays the Inspector suggests the famous line to be spoken at a particular scene - impromptu .. and the entire Hall comes down .. it was the most popular song of the World .. and gives me my best actor Cup - the Kendall Cup .. Geoffrey Kendall, who built the drama Company Shakespeareana, travelling all over the World with it .. came to put up the plays of Shakespeare in School .. asked me to play a part on one such day .. I did not coz' was prepping for my Finals Senior Cambridge Exam .. John Kurrien, classmate did it .. Shashi Kapoor married his daughter - Jennifer - who acted on stage with her Father, and where and when Shashi ji met her ..

It is in the morn of another family birth .. of which that has required no explanation .. the better half celebrates her birthday TODAY , and all the greetings for her are recognised and shown gratitude , as always ..

A quiet family 'bring in' for the 9th on the midnight hour .. and the love of immediate family presence ..

A correction on the date of the DAY, yesterday was done after the realisation that, the mind plays truant at times .. more now in these times than before .. nature takes over .. it guides and gives decision , and we accept ..

.. the night did end up by the after of midnight .. and the 'nidra' - निद्रा, was set to the recline by around 2:30 .. but it was seeking a presence at 3 at 4 at 5 .. so I did not wish to disappoint it , submitted myself to its form and came up to accomplish the labour of love - the BLOG ..

Sunday at the GOJ are no such exigency .. they are universal in its execution and desire and presence ..

.. and you see and read docu's of certain happenings in the World of yesterday and today and the days to come and wonder .. how on earth does the human mind think and react and execute its life and the lives of others ..

It is never in peace and harmony .. mistrust and intrigue and doubts and the facade of friendship .. and the reasons, why and the wherefore ..

history keeps changing and is abreast of the culture and way of the circumstances and the mind ..

and each year and month and day we think what shall tomorrow hold .. or indeed what shall today .. and the confusion of what did we do and what shall we do to leave behind for the progeny .. for they are the true inheritors ..

OR .. as Babuji has put in his poem on INHERTANCE .. 'वसीयतनामा' .. the document that contains your WILL ..

'my sons, just because they are my sons, shall not be my inheritors .. they that are my inheritors shall be my sons .."

Delays in the circumstances that recreate mobility cause mind body and circumstance to be immobile as well ..

They need immediate attention and involved regimen .. a schedule that when practiced shall revive the elements that quietly and inadvertently guide our existence - the BODY .. that remarkable piece of manufacturing, much of which remains unknown and that evolves with each passing day towards a realm unknown of its properties ..

The need and awareness of the elements come in droves of information, now at the tip of our body elements ..

We build marvels and extraordinary subjects of utilisation for the World, little knowing or respecting the structure that has guided and selected the elements that we naturally possess .. and each passing day is a revelation ..

Time passes by .. inventions and informations pass by to fresh discoveries and suddenly one day you realise that it was all there, but we never paid attention to it ..

It is therefore never too late to make a beginning .. of anything .. put that proverbial ' foot in the door' , and many rooms and windows open ..

Spent an entire evening on the game and invariably, you choose your winning team and pray and hope they succeed ..

Tonight they did ..

It was cathartic and sublime .. but still a game ..

You offer your own commentary and suggestions and coachings while sitting at home in front of the visual playing before you .. and discover that your intensity does not get transferred to the competition of the game ..

If alone in the viewing, the comments are inward and at times laced with .. err .. humiliating embarrassing expressions, even when we are nowhere near the efficiency and talent that expounds itself before us ..

So there .. !!

Much of what was unknown and referred to in the years of yore, now seem to be seeking explanation and meaning .. the why and the wherefore and the when and the how !!

Maturity they say takes over when it has lost the momentum of its learning long years ago .. but at least there is desire and want for the learning ..

When leaning stops .. life stops ..

And this is where the present communication aerobics present themselves - the NET .. and all that is needed for the information needed .. mostly genuine and correct , often not ..

So back to the books or the Masters of the subject to educate ..

We have lost that phase .. and wonder if it is for the better or not ..

It often causes me a conundrum within ..

But then .. !!??

In the quiet of the night when the birds are asleep and the crickets have subdued their vocals , doth the Blogomaestra conduct his voice and unending connection with the dearest Ef .. some that have been with us from the time of beginning .. some having left and some joining in in the newest ..

A quiet day .. a reflective time for the mind .. a few times spent on seated breathing by the yogic columns of thought and teaching .. and that is it ..

One wonders where the thoughts come from .. one wonders why and the how .. one consecrates it as simply not understandable .. and some or rather one particular dubs it as a high end secretive rendition that even the most sophisticated secret agencies, find difficult to give it elucidation ..

It's the making of the modern mind - crammed with a volley of the highest speed rendition through the wires and cables of information .. multiple bombing the targets that have hitherto remained aloof and silent .. making it difficult at times to punch the right word and name that is at the tip of the tongue but simply not forming to be rendered ..

Some naysayers put it at age, and the conditioning of the brain at this age condition .. some dexterously avoiding the obvious strained illness in its politeness and refraining .. and some simply not quite interested in its relevance .. a natural , I believe .. for the interest in the other or another , does not feature in its capacity to be given attention and debate ..

So .. we trundle along ..

Mumbling in the search for the desired word or expression and the relevance of the net and its informative machine that puts the gravest queries to rest at the punch of a black square or the touch on the 'h' ..

The 'h' .. aaah .. such an innovative express, by the Americans ..

The 'h' is for the phone in your hand (h) .. the 'res' is for the land line at your residence (res) .. and 'work' etc., are too descriptive to get into abrieved formulations ..

Abrieved .. !! yes the communication 'funda' .. uff .. hate this expression 'funda' .. wonder how it developed .. but yes there it is .. the shorter the best ..

.. late as usual .. but got in late from the game IPL .. MI v RR .. and disappointed at MI loss , so grieved and retired .. but now ready for another day and another living ..

the information machine of the modern times is a powerful tool in your hands ..

hands used to be the symbolic expression of expectation, work, labour, effort .. in my early days the expression often used was :

अब सब कुछ अपने हाथ में है, या अब सब कुछ तुम्हारे हाथ में है !

" now everything thing is in our hands, or in your hands .."

but how true in reality has it become ..

from symbolic to the reality of the present .. the MOBILE !

everything in our hands .. EVERYTHING .. connect , advice, meaning , reference ... ALL ..

what the World has become .. and the fortune of one that has lived for over 80 years to have had the experience of .. THEN and NOW !

THEN is now a metaphor .. NOW a practical reality .. achieved and functioning .. the hope of the yesteryear , now present in form and operational ..

Had dreamt THEN .. come true NOW ..

The World changeth .. the order changeth .. the thinking changeth ..

where to from here .. not in my time though, but shall be seen and experienced by the next generation .. the progeny of our next ..

What shall their thinking be .. their experience, compared to the past .. they may never compare .. as is often the refrain heard from this GEN ..

'that was then , now it's this' ..

they do not want to be dragged back - they look ahead to the NEXT ..

May the AHEAD be even more evolved and in beneficial in living thinking and prosperity ..

We can just pray for it now in our limited time ..

That is how it has been .. that is how it shall be ..
