notes; i have to apologize for delaying this update for so long. truth is, it was difficult to write the next part bc i felt like i had trapped myself in pt2– jk wasn’t showing ANY progress & i started to really hate his character. LUCKILY, with the help of my amazing editor n wife @kigurumu​ *audience cheers* i was able to put him back on the right track towards redemption! (& even more painful angst in the future!) sadly, that means that this part doesn’t include any explicit smut, you’ll see why. still, I’m very proud of how much i was able to build his character in this part and i hope you enjoy it!!! lemme know what u think <3

i've said it once and i'll say it again, i really enjoy this series!!!!!! maybe it's so fond because i can really put myself into y/n's shoes, and yami does a great job with the series and i can see her sincerity in her writing and her intentions for these characters. the little hint of some unresolved angsty-ness with y/n saying that she's okay when she's not actually sure whether she is okay or not... jungkook feeling bad about it and thinking that "officially" dating with a label will make him feel better, though he continues to struggle with his internalized misogyny from his upbringing... also the confession scene and the lil goodbye hug was so cute, i thought i was about to scream into my pillow 😭 i really wish nothing but the best for these characters, AND FOR JUNGKOOK TO FINALLY GET IT IN 😩DHELNDJSK ... after he has come to terms with being more sex positive and less semi-self-righteous... but n e way i'm excited to see where this goes!! <3
