had a really productive day today which lessened my exam stress✨ hopefully I’ll be able to keep it up✨

I find these carrels with views over Bloomsbury completely irresistible. I had a really productive morning here looking through philosophy periodicals (and daydreaming about living in those terraces)

I bought my dresses for homecoming today! they’re pretty simple but they fit really well.

i’m reading some french magazines because i want to improve in the daily use of the language outside the classroom. i’ll be in paris in about ten days and i want to feel more confident with my french. magazines are great because they are less committing than a book, what do you think?

First normal school day after exams = an unfortunate case of homework

Today I completed English homework on Atwood’s Spotty Handed Villainesses speech, which is brilliantly written and so interesting to learn about and discuss. I’ve also been putting off cleaning my desk and room by reading Pride and Prejudice. (The post-exam mess of folders, flashcards, loose papers, textbooks and empty highlighters is very real right now).

my friend and i ate a vegetarian brunch and watched a Filipino movie yesterday. sadly, i wasn’t so productive today, but i revised some precal notes + cooked miso butter chicken for my mom.
