Introducing the Morning Stories Collection

4t2 Basement Kit

You’ve probably seen this kit already - @nonsensical-pixels​ converted it some time ago. But here’s my take on it :)

You get all the items from the kit + a collection file and a few extras.

The decals were put on a Butterfly Crawler mesh and since some of them were meant for the floor, I also included my repositoried “rug” version of it (remove it if you had it already).

Standing mirrors were made with an extensive help from @lordcrumps​ who is a mirror magician 🥰, the one without frames is repo’d to the other.

Both TVs are functional, the smaller one keeps its broken feel 😉 

What else…um…the book shelf has slots (I cloned it from one by @hugelunatic​ from here), lamps function as lamps (duh), the pile of chairs and a trunk function as endtables, everything has all the original recolors, price and description. All meshes were smoothed out and no shiny surface was spotted  😎

I am in love with this dress ahh... I originally was going to use Dress Bridesmaid for this replacement but 6 colours wasn't enough 👀 lol

My intention was to follow the same gradient swatch Nikki used but that clearly did not happen 😳 lol Not sure how it got so jumbled but alas... Formal only YF - AF. Thank you for this Nikki!

Slight modifications on Crisps & Kerosene´s wonderful lamp - replaced the lamp stand by the base game water lily leaves and enabled placement on water surfaces, so you don´t need any cheats or OMSPs. Slaved to the original lamp.

4t2 Blooming Rooms Kit

I know what you might think, "This kit, converted AGAIN?!" But wait until you see everything! ;)

This is a conversion of all objects from the kit. All plants are placeable on surfaces (yes, even big pots) and have leaves with undersides via mesh edit, so no overly dark/bright spots. Smoothed out meshes (no seams) and no shine on any object except pearly effect on the lamps. All objects have one obj resource and the footprint was auto expanded where needed (can't thank @deedee-sims enough for this trick, love it). Some meshes were scaled down to better fit sims 2 wall height. One mipmap per texture to save up space and objects with two recolorable subsets where possible.

All surfaces have slots:

Lord Crumps' shadow file is necessary for the shadows to work properly. I've included the latest version of it edited by @episims, so I highly recommend replacing it if you already had one from previous conversions of @lordcrumps.

Compressed, clearly labelled, picture and collection file are included. Meshes merged with recolors.

Honestly there’s so much cute flower shop stuff out there one of the families I’m now most excited to play is the MT florist. She’s the grandmother of a teen townie promoted to full playable BECAUSE of this excitement.

Three MoooD hairs converted to Sims 2, two for males and one unisex. As with all MoooD hairs they all have slight transparency issues but it doesn't bother me that much (plus actually using the HQ texture as a base helps a lot.) Anyway:

With spring now in full bloom and summer approaching I really wanted to try and recreate my favourite outfit to fly in, which is of course a juicy couture tracksuit! Everytime I go on holiday its a tradition of mine to get a new one, so I have quite a collection now 😂. I am beyond obsessed with how this turned out, and of course I have also included simlish swatches and non branded swatches

So I didn't do all of the recolors, only two (Kuromi's Purple recolor and Pochacco's Green sweater)

Also, Keroppi and a few others look a little wonky but I tried reducing their polycount as much as I could without them looking too off/weird.
