Tom got a C+ on his math test and Alex is really happy and a little surprised.
Weird Uncle Holtby watching Andre sew the rip in his pants all by himself. He’s so proud!
Carey took this picture of Weird Uncle Holtby when they went out to a local bistro for lunch. He cried for five minutes, and now it’s his phone background and Alex has a print in his wallet.
Andre hanging out with his new friend Christian! Christian’s mom actually called Nicky because Christian thought Andre was bullying him, but Nicky had to explain Andre wasn’t a bully, he was just trying to show affection. He’s an aggressive friend. Christian still isn’t sure if he likes Andre.
Weird Uncle Holtby just heard a big thump from upstairs and he’s trying to decide if he should investigate or keep watching Drag Race.
The PTA meeting was really stressful today, so Alex took Nicky for an 11am drink to de-stress.
Andre is trying a new trick on his pogo stick! Tom thinks it’s gonna be cool, but Nicky and Weird Uncle Holtby are already mentally rearranging their afternoon schedules for a hospital visit.
V’s in a bad mood and he told Weird Uncle Holtby that his socks weren’t even in season and now Alex is comforting a distressed Braden and hissing at Nicky to call the priest to perform an exorcism on V.
V had to get a booster shot and it was a very stressful experience for him because he’s afraid of needles. Weird Uncle Holtby filmed V freaking out so they could laugh later, but they both cried when V got the shot.
I Am Pleased to Announce
Alex won the Best Lawn competition this year and has yet to put the absolutely obnoxiously large trophy down. He sleeps with it in the bed. He hasn’t hugged his children in two days. He did, however, grill burgers for dinner. He served them in the trophy.

V woke me up with birthday cake in bed while singing happy birthday in that sweet, sweet voice of his. He’s the perfect boy I love him. Andre showed me pictures of the new 6th grade girls he’s chasing and ate my birthday cake. Tom let me beat him in wrestling.

Haha yes! It was a Jane Austen themed party. Everyone was supposed to arrive in period dress, but Tom dressed up as Edward Cullen and Mama wore a Fresh Prince of Bel Air t-shirt. They were relocated to the grill for the night as to not disturb the delicate Romantic atmosphere.
