Are you familiar with the masterpiece that is ‘Star Wars The Third Gathers: The Backstroke of the West’? It’s a hilarious bootlegged version of Return of the Sith where Chinese subtitles were poorly translated back to English and then re-dubbed.

Some highlights:

  • Grievous calls Anakin “smelly boy”
  • Obi-Wan’s “They’re all over me!” becomes “He is in my behind!”
  • “You have done well, my apprentice” becomes “You are already at full cock now”
  • The Jedi council becomes “Presbyterian Church”, “Hopeless Situation Presbyterian” or “Hopeless Situation Parliament”

Highly recommend the watch - the first time I watched this had me crying laughing
