“Scott! Scott! I need your help.”  Stiles was completely out of breath when he finally entered his best friend’s room after almost running the entire way towards his house and up the stairs to Scott’s room.

“Whoa! Calm down, Stiles. What happened?” Scott asked with raised eyebrows.

“What?” Stiles was still breathing heavily when he sank down onto Scott’s bed, shaking his head quickly. “No. Nothing … nothing happened.”

It took a moment for him to catch his breath again but as soon as he did, he started to speak again. “You need to help me find someone to kiss tonight. You know, New Year’s kiss.”

Day 21: Pies from xmasprompts

I’m super late, but have some short Janto/just Torhwood team fun :)

“Pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving!” Jack grinned at everyone in the Hub, putting down the boxes he was holding.

“You’re not even American…” Ianto shook his head while everyone – Owen – jumped on the slices.

“Didn’t you hear me say pie??” Jack grinned.

“Loud and clear. I also heard you saying Thanksgiving and, first off, this is not Thanksgiving. And secondly… again, not American?”

Jack stared at Ianto, then checked the team – busy eating – and walked closer to Ianto, almost leaning entirely against him. “Why the bad mood?”

“I’m just saying,” Ianto smiled.

“You should test them before they’re gone.”

Ianto opened his mouth to answer, but Jack kissed him suddenly, smiling under the kiss.

“Gosh, this is good,” Owen said, his mouth full, and breaking the moment between the two.

Jack looked at Ianto and sighed while Ianto rolled his eyes. They smiled at each other and both took a slice.

Day 24: Technical problems from xmasprompts

Tosh was trying to get her computer to work, in the best way possible – by hitting it. Okay, maybe not the best way, but her last resort. She didn’t have any other choice. Restarting hadn’t worked, restarting again hadn’t worked, trying to find the problem herself hadn’t worked, tracing the last person connected hadn’t worked either – it was herself… So, getting frustrated at the devices seemed like a good solution. It wasn’t, because it didn’t work any better. She felt good expressing her anger, however.

“Someone needs to get laid,” Owen’s voice said as she sighed.

“Why does it always have to be about sex with you?!”

Owen blinked at Tosh, shocked. She ignored him and got back to trying to restart again the computer.

“Have you tried reinitializing it?” he tried after a while in a small, weak voice.

“Of course I have!”

He mumbled something, but she chose to ignore him. If he weren’t going to help her, she didn’t want to have to listen to his stupid remarks.

Nothing happened for another couple of minutes, then her screen went black. Owen appeared a second after from behind her desk, an innocent expression on.

“How many times do I have to tell you that we cannot just unplug everything and hope it works?!” she instantly snapped, ready to jump at his throat.

He seemed to have anticipated her murderous urge as he stood a few meters away from her, until the screen turned on again. She was starting a long monologue about how bad it was for the computer and everything they had on it to do this, but she stopped when the computer seemed to work.

“So?” Owen asked after a moment of silence.

“If I were you, I wouldn’t brag,” Tosh shook her head. “Just one lucky time doesn’t mean it is the thing to do.”

“You’re welcome,” he winked at her, walking back to the medical bay.

He didn’t see her soft smile, but it was probably better for her.

Day 18: Vulgarity from xmasprompts

“Screw this,” Chandler sighed, wiping his forehead. “I’m never gonna sell this…”

“Shoo!”

Chandler’s head shot up when he heard the noise from where his kids were supposed to take a nap – they rarely slept in the afternoon. He was supposed to find a catchy ad for a new razor, but nothing came to his mind. At least he was at home with his children.

“What did you say?!” he said – more like half screamed – to Erica who was smiling. Had she just said her first word?!

Chandler took his camera in a second and started to record his kids.

“Come on, talk for Daddy!”

Never would he have thought he would be so amazed at another human. He felt stupidly happy sometimes.

“Scroo…” Jack said, next to his sister.

“That’s it! Who’s gonna say the first word?!” Maye he sounded like Monica, but they weren’t married for nothing. They’d take their mother’s competitiveness anyway, he could very well prepare them for it.

“Screw,” Jack said.

“You,” Erica followed suit.

Chandler was torn between shock and amazement. For a moment, he filmed in silence, then he stopped the recording quickly and hurried to his children.

“Nononono! You can’t say that! Say daddy…”

“Screw.”

“Daddy.”

“Screw you.”

“Oh sh–oot. What have I done?! Jack, say Mommy… please?”

“Screw!”

“… screwdriver?”

“Screw!” He looked more and more happy as his father panicked.

Monica was going to kill Chandler, he was sure. Maybe he could pretend nothing had happen and cough if Jack tried to speak. Yeah, that could work. Was he that vulgar? Why were their first words this? He was cursed.

He heard Monica coming back and jumped on his camera, deleting the recording quickly and pretending to work right when she opened the door.

Jack almost talked, but he just made noises instead. Erica said “you” and pointed to her mother so Monica was too busy being amazed at her to notice Chandler’s anxious eyes. It didn’t last long as he was back at admiring his small kids shortly after, hoping very hard that Jack had suddenly become mute, or would repeat what her sister was saying. He didn’t speak until a couple more days when Erica hit him and he called for his mommy. Chandler would have been extremely jealous before, but he just felt relieved that his first (almost) word had been Mommy in front of Monica.
