Hey! So, I said I might make a list of Fire Emblem modding links, so here it is! Before anything, be sure you have a hacked 3DS so you can mod your games. You can load mods directly onto a hacked 3DS OR you can use a hacked 3DS to dump your games and play them on an emulator.

If you haven't hacked your 3DS yet, follow this guide to do so! It's easy and super safe!

As for if you want to emulate, you can download the citra emulator here. Just be aware that the emulator can be demanding and not all games function great (all the Fire Emblem games are functional, though).

Now, as for game modding, here are a few of my favorite things to use as well as some interesting mods others enjoy. Feel free to share mods you enjoy and I'll add them to this list.

Fun fact: “Laurent” is coded to show up to almost every liberation mission with some exceptions.

The exceptions are as follows:

  • All liberations of walled cities
  • The Battle for Meir
  • The Battle for Umbalcons
  • The Battle for Soirée Calme
  • The Battle for Plum Paferme
  • The Battle for Portolle
  • All liberations in Elheim

The reason for the first two of these occurrences likely seems to be due to cutscenes. This would be to prevent cutscenes stacking between Laurent’s scenes and other story/character related cutscenes.

Though given the next four occurrences, it also seems Laurent doesn’t show so as to prevent his entrance dialogue from conflicting with boss dialogue that also plays at the start of a mission.

As for Elheim, it makes logical sense due to Laurent having no guide to get past the Winding Wood. However, there does exist one liberation mission that doesn’t require passing through the Winding Wood in Elheim and Laurent doesn’t show there, despite not hitting the other criteria. I take this to mean he’s terrified of elves.

Whatever the case, Laurent could feasibly be recruited by having him visit every country available to him due to needing 4 liberation quests to recruit him and there being 4 countries he can access.

i feel like link is not really attached to any names or titles. whatever object he can find in his pocket ? that's his name now. we don't have time for more detailed explanations. it's like when you're at a cafe and they repeat your name back to you and it's Not correct but you accept it as your designated title until the interaction is over

In that moment, I could absolutely see Ridiel being torn. Cause, it’s like, “holy shit, I wanna see Chloe in that,” but also “I might die if I see Chloe wear that.” She’d probably outwardly agree with Scarlett and Lex to stop her. But only because she doesn’t want *others* to see Chloe in a revealing outfit.

I’ve now learned that if you never recruit Ridiel, Chloe just doesn’t show up in the Elheim part of the credits. Which means she only appears there to be with Ridiel. Further confirmation of my belief in their ship. In this essay I—
