Another black child lost their life in Brazil today.

Miguel, 5 years old, son of a maid who had to take her son to work (in the middle of quarantine), died when he fell from the 9th floor of the building his mother worked on, after the mother’s boss, a rich white women called Sarí Corte Real, put him alone in the elevator to go after his mother who had gone down to walk the dog by order of the same boss.

He fell from a height of 35 meters. From the 5th floor (apartment where the mother works) the boy ended up on the 9th, coincidentally a floor without protection. Miguel, aged 5, died because his mother’s boss was DOING HER NAIL and was too busy to take care of the boy, so she decided to let him go after his mother alone.

The women was arrested, paid a bail of 20k reais and is now free.

Rant: Idols + Military Enlistment

Is it just me that thinks it’s highkey annoying when people find out their idols are enlisting, they’re like “why do they have to do this” “it’s not fair” “don’t make them enlist” blah blah bleh

1. Try understanding and educating yourself about Korea and their politics, and why they have the mandatory enlistment policies in the first place

2. Military service is a sign of honor in Korea. And idk about you, but honor is very very VERY serious and is not taken lightly specially in Asia

3. Just because they are celebrities and they’re your faves does not mean they should be exempt from service. You know what happens when celebrities get special privileges regarding military service? They get major disrespect from the people.

4. Currently, with the whole military policies changing and stuff, I see so many people complaining and saying it’s unfair, and a lot of them are from international fans. I’m an international fan, and who are we to judge and say whether it’s fair or unfair? We don’t live in Korea. We aren’t Korean. So just shh.

I’m annoyed that they’re being considered for military exemption and if its only them that pisses me the fuck off. Just because they’re on the Billboard doesn’t mean they should get special treatment when every other boy group who works just as hard has to do their mandatory military service because they’re not “popular” enough. Thats bullshit and thats wrong, and it makes me so fucking mad that it has a good possibility of happening. I hope it doesn’t pass because there’s no equality there.
