{ ☽ } A mission had taken Saïx to yet another unexplored world. This one didn't appear to be as modern as some of the others he'd come across in his travels. The most he'd seen on his exploration were vast forests, and rumors of a castle nearby. When he'd put all the clues together, and gathered that this was a variant of Snow White's world, one of the Princesses of Heart, his curiosity merely grew. His mission had successfully finished, and rather early at that. The Diviner didn't think it would hurt to stay and explore a little more, although it certainly didn't take long for rumors of a suspicious hooded figure stalking the forest to reach peoples ears as well as strange shadow creatures lurking about.

{ ☽ } A humorless chuckle left his lips then. “Lea does have a Keyblade.” There was an obvious fondness in his tone as they talked about him. Looks like they were still quite close.
“He couldn’t summon it before, back in the Castle, but he’s managed to since. I’ve seen it. It helped to save me.“ More like knocked some sense into him, but that didn’t matter now. They were free. “So I highly doubt they’d turn on him. He’s one of them now. A guardian of light.” And what was Isa? That much… He didn’t know yet, but he knew one thing. He wanted to take Xehanort down as well. He knew he’d likely only cause trouble for the others, but he didn’t plan on just sitting around while the others fought. Not after all Xehanort had put them through.
He blinks at Isa’s words. Taken aback actually. Lea? With a keyblade. “ Oh , nice joke . Y’almost got me . “ A laugh comes from the gunner but it then dies out. Isa wasn’t laughing in return. “ You’re serious ? He actually has one ? “
Letting out a long whistle, he puts his hands behind his own head and moves his coffee brown eye in any direction that wasn’t the blue head. That wasn’t what he was expecting. Huh. Leaning back some, Braig lets out a grunt with a scowl coming to his face. “ If… I go with you , he wouldn’t strike me down , would he ? “ He needed to make sure. He wasn’t the nicest in the organization and did end up losing his cool here and there.
{ ☽ } "He does," he answered honestly. He hadn't expected such a thing himself, but he'd never been more proud of his best friend. After all they'd been through, and now here he was, Keyblade and on the side of the light. As for Isa himself... his path from here on was uncertain.
"Of course not and if any of them attempt to do so, I will stop them. I'm certain you likely don't have to worry about Sora or Lea, but the others are unclear. Everyone deserves another chance, Braig."
Bringing Braig back to the tower might have a rocky start, but he was certain in the end things would be fine. Isa didn’t know what all he could do to help, but he wanted to try if the other was willing.
wishlist: AU where Axel and Saïx basically switch and Saïx is best friends with Roxas, Xion, etc.
Saïx realizing he's actually starting to care about others again and maybe just maybe Xemnas lied to them? Saïx making some friends in general really so his heart starts to grow again and potentially screws up Xehanort's plans.

{ ☽ } It wasn’t something he liked being reminded of. It would never go away. He knew it would always be there, as a reminder how he’d failed to not only escape but protect his only friend. It was a reminder of just who he was slowly turning into. It was a reminder of who had given it to him as well.
His attention was focused on Axel as the other started tracing the particular X-shaped scar in between his eyes. No one else would have been allowed to get away with such a thing. Surprisingly enough from the Diviner, he tensed at the initial touch. “…What are you doing that for?”

“Hey, we’ve all got our battle scars, some’re worse than others but-” he paused, noting a moment too late how Saix had stumbled over his words. Him? “Who’s him?” He asked, turning his head toward the blue-haired nobody leaning against his thin frame. As far as Axel knew, the scar across Saix’s forehead had been an unfortunate mission accident, but suddenly he felt as though he was missing a key piece to the story.
“’N don’t call him ‘Lord’, he doesn’t deserve a stuffy title like that.”
{ ☽ } He tensed realizing he’d been caught. This was certainly something he’d planned on telling the other at some pont. When, he wasn’t exactly sure, but keeping it hidden and masked as a simple mission injury scar seemed much easier at least for the time being. He wasn’t sure why he’d kept the truth behind it hidden. Perhaps because he hadn’t wanted the other to do anything reckless with the knowledge? Even now, he still thought about keeping Lea Axel safe. Among getting their hearts back, it was his top priority.
“I know. It’s become a habit at this point,” he said honestly. His gaze drifted from Axel to the floor and back again. It was a moment more before he spoke. “I… suppose I haven’t been very truthful with you since… well, since we became what we are.”
He shifted a bit in his seat then, certain his non-existent heart would be beating rather fast as he spoke. “I tried to find a way for us to escape once shortly after we lost our hearts. Lord Xemnas -” he sighed, it was indeed a habit at this point wasn’t it? “-caught me, and this was my punishment.” He motioned to the scar. Xemnas tortured Saïx, and he still remained loyal to the Superior? Although at this point, he supposed it was out of a more healthy respect than anything.

i am a slow roleplayer. not only do i get distracted easily, i get overwhelmed easily. sometimes i can’t talk and do drafts at the same time so i am sorry if i ignore your message. i am deliberate and methodical with every word choice. i like to spend my time on my writing and getting to that emotional level within myself to evoke a proper response with each reply. i’m not good at whipping out thread after thread. i never have been. i’m sorry if that’s the way you roleplay and i don’t match up, but i like to think the quality of the writing makes up for my lack of speed. thank you so much!
