I loved drawing this comic sm :3 i based on a scene from the fic “Time to Go Home” I read and 😭 it was so friking good y’all should check out the author’s series it’s like the perfect balance of wholesome and angst sbskbdkdbdkdbd I loved the analysis they made on Tobecky’s love languages 🥺💕 Becky being words of affection makes so much sense ;v; I’m in love with the writing and “Saving Tobey” man ;;;;; emotional damage with that one

Also the designs of the characters are a bit different bc they’re supposed to be older but I suck at aging up characters specially when I’m just learning how to draw them 🤡 but i hope you like them still

Tobey: Yes, that may be, but it’s funny what else you realize when one thing falls into place.

Tobey: Like I realized that you and WordGirl are the same height, the same hair style and color!

Becky: Oh, that’s ridiculous!

Tobey: The same sparkling smile, the same ruby lips, the same—[He pauses very briefly, catching himself] I realized I’ve said too much.

[There is an awkward moment of silence.]

At one point, Tobey suspected Becky was WordGirl because they shared many common traits.

Of those traits, Tobey admits to believing Becky has a sparkling smile, and ruby lips.

From this information, it’s safe to assume that Tobey, while having a crush on WordGirl, also has one on Becky.

To the surprise of no one.
