It’s my creation, is it real?

It’s my creation, I do not know

No hesitation, no heart gold

Just flesh and blood, I do not know

I do not know!

How well do you see color?

I’m cry I scored 60, I feel blind

these are all the same exact color . what

(score 0 here and what I see is four subtle but still noticeably different colors: they range from warm on the left to cool on the right. I see more orange in the green on the left, still some orange in the second from left, a more neutral aqua-green in the second from right, and more blue in the rightmost square.)

America moment

People in america need to wake up to the fact they're trying to kill us on a daily bases feeding is things that are illegal in most countries

It probably wasn’t pesticides. It was more likely a difference in the amount of gluten in the bread.

North American bread has a much higher gluten content, because there is a higher gluten content in North American wheat and other grains. This is because the grains need it to survive the generally colder climates of North America, so they’ve been bred to have a higher gluten content, which helps insulate the grains from the cold.

So it’s not that the higher amount of gluten is illegal in other places, it’s simply just not necessary, and so it’s not there.

And so North American people who have gluten intolerances often see relief when they eat European bread, due to it not containing the extra gluten.

This is an incredibly common phenomenon.

If you are a North American with a gluten intolerance, now doubting the legitimacy of that because of this video or screenshot, I promise they aren’t poisoning you, they’re just trying to make sure that people in North America can have their own wheat, flour, and bread without the logistics and high price of shipping it across the Atlantic Ocean.

saw this rbed without this addition (i already knew this but u can look it up if ur unsure) n you guys should rb this version instead! our (meaning American ) government sucks but not EVERYTHING is a conspiracy some things are the way they are for many different reasons and it sucks but it is what it is i promise u American bread isn't being poisoned by the govt .

This is also why Southern buttermilk biscuits...

(these things)

Are a completely different texture from Northern biscuits made with the same recipe.

Because of the higher gluten in Northern-raised wheat. Northern biscuits will never be as light and fluffy as ones made from Southern flour.

Some transplanted Southerners actually have family members ship flour from the South for making biscuits that meet their standards.

Yes, I’ve heard that, about biscuits and northern vs. southern U.S. flour.

But that’s interesting, about European bread flour. I’ll have to check that out next time we get to travel there. Usually I can get through about half a slice of toast without issues here in the U.S. Pasta is right out, because it takes a high-gluten flour to make.

Do you hate Valentine’s Day? Does it make you feel lonely and sad?

Great news bestie, I have the perfect replacement holiday for you:

James “Colonizer Bitch” Cook was murdered in Hawai’i by my ancestors on Feb 14th, 1779, on Kealakekua Bay. This iconic move ended his reign of terror across the Pacific, where he ruined everything and was overall a massive dick. Buy yourself some chocolate and fondly remember how Kānaka Maoli stabbed James to death and burned his corpse. It’s the perfect holiday for all ages ❤️

Rest in pieces James Cook, you haole bitch.

folks you need to understand that the eradication of trained artists and designers is a much, much, much bigger threat to arts and culture than IP laws.

why do you think is it that every movie poster the same collage of a bunch of faces? why does every website made after 2015 look the same and rendered unusable by the same ugly pop ups? why does it keep getting harder to differentiate the apps on your phone? Why can't the back of the book just fucking tell you what the book is about?

look I'm a graphic designer. when I started studying design I had clear career goals. I spent like, thousands of hours on studying effective visual communication, psychology, history, grid systems, color theory, typography, print and digital design techniques, accessibility like whatever I believed would make me better at design I poured myself into it.

and within the span of like. five years maybe. 90% of design work disappeared. By the time I graduated there were basically no graphic designers. After 2012 Every company decided that design itself is trivial and true designers should know how to code. And manage social media. And do video editing. And copywrite. and this. and that. and. and. and. and as previous generations of visual designers and illustrators retired, the people who had the luxury of putting all their time into developing specific set of skills, they were replaced with tech grifters and designers who were forced to learn a dozen different skills and were at best mediocre at everything.

my job is not threatened by AI automation because it has already been ruined by automation through canva and bootstrap. and no one even tried to put a stop to it because good design is hard to understand and easy to imitate. so people started to imitate the visuals of previous good design and thought that was all there is to design. and after 10 years of copies of copies of copies we're all asking each other: "why does everything look the same"

now illustrators fear the same will happen to their field. and some of them want stricter copyright laws rights, because there is nothing else that can protect their work. "theft" is the only legal protection they have. and yeah, IP laws suck. but it's better for them to defend their labor using shoddy laws than not at all. and if you allow unimaginative grifters to displace artists from the few creative fields where they still work you won't even have a reason to worry about IP laws.

So 40 years ago I was a copy editor. It was a viable career: you went through manuscripts, marked actual errors and things that were contrary to your publisher’s style sheet, marked up images and tables for the typesetter/printer, and flagged other possible problems for the author’s attention. Depending on your employer’s requirements, you might also act as a fact checker.

I left that career after 10 years to become a computer user support specialist. But if I hadn’t, I might have needed a new job anyway: soon after my switch, I began to hear about respected publishers laying off their copy editors and fact checkers. They had decided that automated systems were good enough. 😮‍💨
