• dusts off blog • I made a bunch of new followers while I was away, and how I managed that,.. I have absolutely no idea but wow... it’s been a long ass time since I’ve been here. So I’m cleaning up this blog in hopes to play Charlie again in the near future. New theme, done –– but I need new tags, and to delete a bunch of stuff. Toodles ––– SKYLER.
INDEPENDENT && SELECTIVE PETER PAN “ TO DIE WOULD BE AN AWFULLY BIG ADVENTURE ”
Small Hiatus??? I know activity has been a little low, but there are reasons. I went to the doctor the other day, && the Doc has officially stated that I have tendonitis in my hands/wrists. I know very little about this. But I’ve been instructed to “rest” my hands for a while, && she’s given me slings to wear. They are not fun. This is not fun. Skyler is sad. Muse is sad.

most of the time tony would engage in talk around the club, heck if he had enough to drink he might do some awkward dancing and then live to regret it the next day when he appeared splattered all over the newspapers and not to mention the internet. but tonight he was a little more reserved. he’d found a corner for himself and got a drink. the sunglasses offered him as much as a disguise as he could ask for and he kept to the darkest corner he could.
he was enjoying his drink, sipping at the scotch bit by bit, savouring the taste that travelled down his throat and then into his stomach. but then he felt the sharp shards against his neck and the back of his head along with the liquid splashing up against him. tony stared wide eyed into his glass and put it down so he could turn to face the accused.
“jesus-” his hands reached back try to swiftly wipe the glass away careful not to hurt himself with it. “do you usually smash glasses in the direction of people you don’t know? whats got your panties in a twist?”
Could he be anymore stupid? The mire of emotions coursing through Charlie’s system weighed down on him like an unbearable weight –– only igniting his scintillating embarrassment. Words could not express how unreasonably adolescent he felt, && he wanted to shake it all away like an etch-a-sketch. Just when he thought he could ‘keep his cool’, he’d lost it in five seconds flat.
If there was a cliff, Charlie swore he’d jump it. This clearly wouldn’t be a situation he’d ever disclose to his friends.
“No sir, I was just – “ Taking a step forward, he offered a hand, picking shards off the stranger, brushing what he could away in a hurry. If the man asked him to stop, he would, because Charlie would understand. && what could he honestly say? How could he give a reasonable reply to something so unreasonable? He couldn’t blame the man if he wanted to kill Charlie. “I just get so mixed up sometimes, I wasn’t thinking” He breathed. “I really shouldn’t have done that, I really am sorry.”

❝ Are you—-? Are you fucking crying!? ❞
There were many books Charlie had perused in his lifetime where the writer expressed that anything was possible –– but this was a bit of a stretch.
Maybe he was dreaming, or maybe he finally snapped? Charlie couldn’t make up his mind, but he sat quietly on the floor, backed up against the wall. A doll was talking to him, a doll. The question it asked shook him out of his stupor –– he hadn’t even noticed the tears brimming his eyes.
“No...” He replied, “Yes? I don’t know. Are you... are you for real?”

RPers, please reblog this if you’re ok with para responses that don’t include dialogue.
Often it seems like an expectation that dialogue will be exchanged in every para response, but sometimes characters are nonverbal, or don’t have anything to say, or are in a situation that would make talking impractical. If the writer puts enough attention into describing their actions, though, there’s still plenty to respond to even without dialogue. Non-dialogue responses are not “going nowhere.” Non-dialogue responses are not “filler.” Non-dialogue responses are not non-responses.
