Last Call for Mermageddon!  (Sims 4)

It’s time to lock and load, gang, Patch Day is almost upon us!  

If this is your first experience with an EA patch, Do Not Panic.  

Patches breaking things (mods/cc, some random game things) is NORMAL.  

PLEASE do not pester creators with “when will this mod/cc be updated?” questions.  The answer will always be, “sooner, if I’m not interrupted.”  Be patient, these people are worth waiting for.

Come to Deaderpool’s Discord, hang out with us instead.  Many on the Support Team have played since launch (myself included), we know what’s about to happen, and we have survived EP patches several times, already.  We’ll be working on finding out “what broke” and tracking updates as creators make them available.  

Please read rules_and_guidelines, and be sure to Verify your way onto Deaderpool’s server.  Unverified you will see SOME parts, but to see the “live” support channels, you MUST Verify.  (It’s easy, find the check mark, click it, done.)

If you’re a player who updates as soon as patches are dropped, we’ll be looking for people to help test and verify what mods or custom content might still be working.  Roll up your sleeves and dive in, you’ll have plenty of company!

This community is so fucking greedy.

Not just about expansion packs, I’m talking about actual simblrs who don’t get as much notes as they should on posts that are non-sims related. They get like 1k notes on custom content or 300 notes on edits and then when they post about needing help financially, mentally, etc. y’all suddenly go blind.

I’ve seen popular simblrs reach out for help and no one offers a hand or even a simple reblog because ‘muh aesthetic.’

Start helping others, even if it’s not sims related, I’ve seen so many people struggling on here and no one gives a FUCK. Start spreading awareness even if it will ‘interfere’ with your aesthetic. People are more important than this dumb fucking game.

Let them know you aren’t just there for their sims content.
