NAME: Michaela Knox NICKNAME: Micah AGE: 17 OCCUPATION: Student at Liberty High & barista at Monet’s
BIO; At the age of 14 Micah lost both of her parents in tragic car accident, which she was minutes from being a part of. The blonde was dropped of at the airport by her parents, she was supposed to spend her summer with an unknown uncle, she’d never heard off, not knowing she’d get to spend the rest of her teenage years under his roof.
Micah transferred schools freshman year, starting over in a new town shouldn’t be that difficult, but fearing that she’d lose those she grew close to just like she’d lost her parents, she stayed away from the spotlight, and away from making friends. Her uncle gave her half a year to grieve, 6 months that revolved around thinking about death and how much easier life would be if she’d just been in the car with her parents. After 6 months of moping, her uncle paid a psychologist to help her cope with her loss, and slowly she got better. With only a few months of freshman year left, she started to open up to people and formed a small group of friends. One of them being Kat. Micah first met Hannah Baker at the party, and in her drunken state she told the brunette about her past. Something she hadn’t told anyone since she moved to town.
Oblivious to Hannah knowing about her past and oblivious to Hannah’s suicidal thoughts, Micah continued to life her life. Slowly gaining more popularity around school and expanding her circle of friends. The blonde was friendly towards Hannah in the hallways, not knowing about the demons Hannah was fighting on her own before it was too late. Like the rest of Liberty High Micah was shocked to hear about the suicide. And even more shocked when she by accident listened to the tapes and learned the 13 reasons why Hannah killed herself. Even though she’s never done anything to harm Hannah, she feels guilty for not standing up for her when the rumours started and most of all she feels guilty for not befriending the girl, when she needed at friend the most.

Gaze shifts downward, pen resting between index and middle finger, lips releasing a soft sigh as he tries desperately to pay attention. Due to recent events, he’s lost on the words as the history teacher droning on, missing the notes in which he’s suppose to be taking. Instead, as class draws to an end, he turns to the closest person near him. “Hey, Micah, right? Mind if I borrow your notes?”

History had to be one of the few classes she actually enjoyed. Her pen eagerly scribbling down notes, while she listens to their teacher telling them about the Roman Empire. She frowns the moment she’s asked about her notes, her gaze landing on the empty paper in front of him. She had to be both blind and deaf to not know about Archie Andrews, she offers him a small smile. “Yeah Micah... And sure just give me a second.” She finishes the sentence she was about to write when he interrupted her, before handing him her notes.
“I will tape it so the whole world knows to what song The Blossoms were conceived. Iconic.” Even if her early childhood friendships with the blossoms had ended a long time ago, Regina had to admit they certainly knew how to keep themselves in the centre of the town’s gossip. Good, or bad. “You should! It’s really fun, I mean, sometimes we get the basketball players around. They are not the football team, obviously but they are cute.” And she shrugs it off, moving to take her camera and looking at their surrounding with it. “Speaking of cute, Archie Andrews is suddenly our town’s Troy Bolton, how odd is that?”
“Remind me to leave the room if you ever decide to show the tape.” The situation was disturbing, how did Cheryl even know that they were conceived to a song and the exact song. She was grateful she didn’t know anything about the day she was conceived herself. Just thinking about it made her uncomfortable. “Oh, that explains why anyone would be willing to put up with Cheryl as cheer captain. Who can say no to cute boys?” A short-lived giggle escaped her glossy lips. “I definitely didn’t expect him to show up at school after summer vacation and look like that. But I’m not complaining! I don’t think anyone would be complaining about that. He looks so hot!”
“I’m not good at all that feelsy-honesty thing.” Cheryl is quick to point out, quick fall of brown eyes toward the other as her fingers toyed with the hem of the blanket, redhead curls fall over her shoulder, partially hiding her features. “Jason was the only person I could be honest with. My parents are role models regarding business and fashion but they’re not getting any parents of the year award.” A thin smile plays over her lips as she shrugs. “It feels weird being the alive twin.”
“Me neither, but I tried dealing with my loss on my own. It went great for the first few weeks, but then everything started falling apart.” Luckily her uncle had been there to drag her out of her misery. Helping her cope with the loss, and slowly her daily routine would be somewhat normal again. “What I’m saying is, if you need a shoulder to cry on whether it’s now or in a few weeks, I’ll be there.” Gently she placed her hand at the redhead’s shoulder, giving it a gentle squeeze. “I understand that, things will probably feel weird until they’ve found whoever did this to Jason.”

“ whoever this murderer is, they already killed one ginger and they’re not killing another one. besides, don’t you think we need to find this person? the police haven’t found them yet and i’m worried that they’ll never find them. “
“But what if the murderer has some sort of agenda against gingers? - What if he or she is only murdering gingers? -- Point is, you’re not going alone. I’m going with you if you absolutely has to go, not that I want to, but you can’t go alone.”
“ look, i’m just going to look around out in the woods. nothing bad could happen. besides, if someone tries to kill me, i’ll just start fight them. what could go wrong? “

“You can’t go and look around in the woods alone, what if Jason Blossom’s murderer hides in the woods? Do you have some sort of death wish?”
“I don’t think Reggie’s dumb enough to actually hit a girl.” But still, best not to pick a fight with him if it can be avoided. It only egged Reggie on and Archie should listen to his own advice but sometimes he was just too damn impulsive.
“Uh……they’re okay. Getting better. Our relationship became a little strained over the summer but I’m working on fixing that.” or at least, he hoped they were getting better.
“If he keeps being an idiot we’ll probably find out. But for now I’ll just avoid him.” She’d never liked the taller boy, believing he was just a self absorbed jock. “I’m sure standing up for him helps your situation.”
She parked her car outside of the Andrews residence, before her eyes locked at his bruise once again. “We need to get you inside, and get something cold for that bruise. It doesn’t look too great.”

BIO;
Micah Knox grew up in New York as an only child to surgeon Laurel Knox and her husband William Knox, former star quarterback for Riverdale Bulldogs. Even though Micah has family in Riverdale she never visited the small town as a kid, with a mother, who worked all the time, and a father, who played football for a living until he was injured during a game. It wasn’t one of her parents priorities to travel to Riverdale to let their daughter see the town her father grew up in.
Money has never been an issue, meaning Micah was rather spoiled as a child. Especially when her father’s football career ended, and he became a ‘stay at home’ father. Growing up she was definitely a daddy’s girl, since her mother worked long shifts at the hospital. So her relationship with her mother has always been almost none existent.
Being a daddy’s girl meant keeping her father’s dirty little secrets to herself, never ratting him out to her mother. She’s known about her father’s affairs since she’s 13 years, catching him with lip stick stains on his shirts when he came home late at night. Micah kept her mouth shut, until her mother found out. Micah had just finished freshman year, celebrating with her friends, she arrived at home at 1 am to a fight between her parents.
The fight let to her mother threatening to divorce, so in an attempt to fix their marriage her father planned a vacation for the two of them. Asking his brother to take care of their daughter while they were away. Micah was dropped off at the airport, so she could go visit her uncle. But her parents never made it home, they’re involved in a car accident and instantly killed. Micah received the devastating news when she’d made it to her uncle’s home in Riverdale. Instead of being sent to a foster home till she turned 18, her uncle became her legal guardian.
Her sophomore year at Riverdale High was spend trying to keep up her grades, being a straight A student back in New York. She mostly stayed away from social events. But the murder of Jason Blossom changed her quiet behaviour, reminding her to life her life to the fullest. Because you never know when it’s too late.
