       Payback. Definitely payback. This has to be! Or some sort of retaliation for all the times in which he purposely messed with the other teenager. That smug look on the other’s face spoke in volumes as fingers pinched and pulled against the skin of his cheeks, feeling the tug of the tissue within his mouth. “Okay, okay!” Hands raised to wave in front of his body in a hope that it may finally cease the tugging.
       Perhaps with it being done to him now, he finally learned his own lesson to stop. Still, it seemed as if Red had no plans of stopping soon, so it may be best to simply grin and bear it for the time being. Could Bren even do that?

     it was fun for a little while. the feeling of revenge fueled his movements for what seems like an hour to someone who’s enduring the torturous feeling of having their cheeks pulled on. but ultimately he comes to the decision that this teasing thing isn’t as fun as brendan makes it out to be and he pulls his hands away from the other boy’s face.

     now that he’s stopped he’s trying to think of why he even began in the first place. yes, he wanted to make his presence known but... he never went about it so adamantly. his actions have him in a silent fit of embarrassment, brows knitted closely together and hands now shoved into his pockets. the commotion bren caused wasn’t even worth this awkward aftermath he’s feeling. how annoying.

     he’s learning. that’s the only explanation. from the usual tugging and pulling on his own cheeks red has finally learned how to retaliate. so consider this punishment, bren, because this torture doesn’t stop. in fact, he takes both cheeks in between his index and thumb, respectively, and tugs.

     it doesn’t matter if he saw him coming, saw him standing there, or anything else of that caliber. he was here to win. win what, you may ask? who knows. and who cares.

     a wrong turn here... a miscalculated bend there... and he’s lost. though he finds himself at the edge of the lake, he has a... quiet, peaceful view to enjoy here. traipsing a new region was always an experience. whether it be a good or bad one, at this point, he’s not sure.

     but this was nice. though that cave over there is taunting him.
