Energy company has got some sass
This is the best summary of the corporate deflection of blame for environmental destruction onto the consumer to save face I’ve ever seen

does anyone have that one painting with the ghosts standing in the water?
like theyre in the water and they’re staring off to the side and there’s something so very wrong about it and they’re bending over and trailing along like deer in the headlights but you can’t see what they’re staring at which might make it even scarier
like this
beach day beach day
by the way, the artist is olivia steen (website linked above) and apparently, her other works are just as breathtakingly eerie
look at this!!! it’s cool as hell!!
I thought the last one was very familiar to me and turns out it’s painted over a photo of john lennon !
and after looking at the first one again it is also, a beatle photo
Not going to lie the first picture like the ghost on the water It kinda is referenced on the one picture where the Beatles are in Miami for the Help! shooting I dont have the picture but it really looks like! Especially the bending ghost resembles Ringo and The other Picture where the ghost is sitting down I also remember so much remember that that picture is Brian Epstein sitting I also don’t have the picture cause I cant fine IT aaaaa HAHAH
Now THIS is some fucking forbidden fandom lore lmao
ETA THIS IS THE ONE!!!!

for anyone who is confused: Sony (the publisher) made it a requirment for people to connect a psn account to play the game 6 months after it had been out. the issue is psn isnt avaible in every country and it would basically lock everyone out in those countries from the game. The game so far had been super sucessful, in part because the devs really engage with the community. The ceo of arrowhead (the devs) came out and said they had known about this and were trying to avoid it and basically took the guilt but said they had no control over it. then the community manager of the discord (employed by arrowhead) basically told everyone to review bomb the game (insane that he didnt instantly get fired). Helldivers 2 is also noted for having a very strong community and this was already happened (the community had taken up the phrase "we dive together or not at all). In less than a day the game went from overwhelming positive to mostly negative reviews on steam. 48 hours later sony put out a tweet (on a sunday) saying that to you were no longet required to link your account. the reviews went back to mostly positive a day later.
also psn fucking sucks security wise, which is pretty big mark against you when your reasoning for a change is "security"
