Slowing rising to her feet she was glad to have the woman to lean on as her body felt unable to hold her weight. “Thank you,” she said softly, leaning into the woman. “I believe you, though I don’t know you, I do believe you.” Giving a small smile in return as they went down the hall. Following her into the office she gratefully took the glass of water, drinking it slow she took in the space, only looking back when she heard Lori speak.

“Is that how you communicate with each other?” She asked when she heard Lori ask for food for both of them. Running over the words she ran her tongue over her lips. “Why shouldn’t he tell Simon? Is he dangerous?” Her stomach did a flip, and she found herself chewing her split lip.

Nodding she looked down, “It was never easy being a woman, but I thought with how things were that people would be more focused on living than hurting each other.” Sighing once more she absently wiped her cheek, “Guess I was wrong.” When there was a knock she jumped but realized it was the man called Dwight. “None of these men are concerning, with so many of them?”

Lori sighed and sat in Negan’s chair “Simon can be dangerous. I mean who isn’t these days. But he’s impulsive. He thinks he can overrule Negan and nobody can. Except me. Negan caught someone trying to rape a girl here and killed him for it. He doesn’t accept or tolerate woman abuse of any kind.” She left the part out of Negan having a harem once, but that wasn’t important and he never hit any of them or raped them. He wasn’t a bad man at heart.
