"I was all alone. Sitting in my box, trembling and sobbing. The darkness of it was the only comfort I had. Where was I? Who brought me here? Where were my parents? Where was my home? I didn't know anymore.
There was so much noise. All the clanking and creaking of metal, people walking back and forth, chatting, laughing, yelling. But no one paid attention to my lonely box in the middle of the hallway. Did they forget I was in there? Did they not want me?
Did no one want me?
I was sitting alone in the darkness. Until a light came through as someone opened the box. I hissed, my claws digging into the cardboard, my fur bristling, a reflex, my animal instinct to fight or flight. Any normal person would've backed away, would've left me there alone as they found me and never looked back. But not you. Never you.
Instead you smiled at me. That stupid dorky smile that you never grew out of. And as you pulled me out of my box and into a hug, suddenly, I wasn't afraid anymore. Suddenly, my claws didn't feel so sharp, my fur didn't bristle. Suddenly, my hiss was replaced by a low rumble of a purr.
And that's when I knew… where my home was."

Their journey takes them to a strange First One's temple, there they unknowingly reveal themselves to an ancient evil enemy. They soon face The Outcast, a demon-possessed assassin sent to eradicate the only woman strong enough to stand in the way of a galactic conquest. Adora, Catra, Glimmer and Bow again find themselves fighting against an implacable enemy, their fight taking them taking them from Etheria, to the very stars, and even farther…

Starting May 15, I will begin posting the chapters of my new fanfic to AO3 weekly (or at least try to).
