This is how you know I have spent a lot of time watching Chicago Fire. I notice Kelly wears his lieutenant shirt not tucked in and without a undershirt. Herman wears his tucked in but without a undershirt. Casey wore his tucked in and with a undershirt

This is actually such a great point and says a lot how each of them are as officers/people in general!

Kelly also almost always has his boots untied and the laces not even tucked in, he wears them very loose and I know that’s probably so he can slip them off easily to put on his bunker gear but that combined with his untucked shirt really adds to his casual, not giving too much of a crap about the vibe. Kelly cares about his job of course but he’s not too interested in the ranks, I mean if he really was he would be a Captain by now. We all know he’s qualified for the promotion, he’s just not too interested in it.

Whereas Casey on the other hand is always very tidy, his boots are never loose, his uniform always looks professional and he keeps his office very decluttered despite the extra paperwork that comes with being a Captain. He honors the rank and can almost be solider like at times.

Hermann is inbetween them both. He’s all about the professionalism especially since he worked so long and hard for his rank but he’s also a bit more causal than Casey. He’s a huge goofball too and has his fun at work but also knows when it’s time to get down to business.

Just remembered that The Night Shift was also on NBC, so from now on I’ll be living under the assumption that TC Callahan was the medic that treated Jay Halstead when he was injured in Afghanistan since they were both canonically Rangers deployed at the same time.

Considered one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time, Casillas was given the nickname “San Iker” throughout his career, for his precocious performances as a youngster, and due to his ability to produce acrobatic and decisive saves.

“The strikers will face him thinking about what to do. His figure is so large and has grown over time. Rivals would always feel he commands respect and even fear. In one on ones, he is the best. I always want to have Iker on my team as a goalkeeper.” - Dino Zoff

“For Iker first thing I can say is that beyond a great keeper he is my friend. He is a saint with a heart bigger than what all he has achieved in his career, and that’s saying a lot about him” - Pepe Reina

“In a team you need a goalkeeper with whom you can work and also have fun. Then you stop and think there is only one in the history of football who matches that characteristic.” - Victor Valdes

“I, of course, have great respect for Iker, he was, if not the greatest, one of the greatest goalkeepers in the history of Madrid” - Pep Guardiola

Greats Of The Game - Iker Casillas, Goalkeeper

After gaining promotion to the senior team in 1999, he remained with the club for 16 seasons, later serving as the club’s captain. During his highly successful time at the Madrid club, he won five La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey titles, four Supercopa de España titles, three UEFA Champions League titles, two UEFA Super Cups, two Intercontinental Cups, and the FIFA Club World Cup. With 725 appearances for the club, Casillas is Madrid’s second most capped player of all-time after Raúl.

I like how everybody is paired off haha

I FINALLY FOUND OUT WHY THIS HAPPENS. You see this all the time when there’s a fight or a scrum and suddenly everyone pairs up with a member of the opposite team and they just sort of …hold each other.

Someone on reddit asked about it. And it turns out there’s a logical-ish reason:

all of the other players pair off with their man to prevent anyone else entering into the fight … so it’s a form of self policing.
[…] The players basically want to prevent 2 on 1, etc. fights and by finding a “hugging” partner so there’s no ganging up on one guy, even on accident. They do it because it’s fair. And it’s kind of cute sometimes.

so now we know! it’s fair…and cute.

NHL: You need to prevent other player’s from joining in the fight, make sure to hold them back

Hockey players, hugging: Got it.

This is the cutest shit and I love it akxbakxhsjd
