It’s February 1st! Time to start the first Stony Bingo round in 2024! Welcome to a new round of Cap-Iron Man Bingo! 2024 Round 1 is now open for card requests and fills. Come and request your cards while they’re hot.

Deadline extension for your cards from last round!

But wait? STONY BINGO! 2023 Round 2 ended yesterday (Jan 31st) and card requests for that round are now closed. In case you didn’t post all your fills yet, don’t fret. We’re extending the deadline for STONY BINGO! 2024 Round 2 until February 2nd. That means you can now request a new card or still try to finish your card from last round - or both.

If you’d like to claim your prize for the previous round, you can now do so in the first comment thread of this post.

If you’re interested in getting a new bingo card, this post is the place to be! There are no penalties for not completing a bingo in a past round: anyone can get a new card and try to reach bingo!

What happenes if we do something to fill a bingo square and you, the mods, disagree that it filled it? Is that a thing that can happen?

Not really -- we're pretty broad in our interpretation!

In general the rules can be boiled down to the following. If your square is "Captain America", don't write a story that doesn't have or reference Captain America in any way. But squares can be interpreted however you interpret it -- create something with that square in mind, don't just use whatever to fill squares.

If participants aren't sure about a square, please ask us and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

What is the difference between first and second claims? Are artists required to work with two writers? Can writers who already claimed, choose again?

The general difference between RBB first and second claims is whether or not the artist has opted in to work with a second writer. When artists submit their entry, they choose whether or not they would be okay working with a second writer. If a writer opts out of second claims, their art work is removed from second claims. This year all artists opted to work with a second writer.

Second claims is open at first for people who have not claimed a work. Then after a period of time, we open second claims for people who have claimed another work.
