a v v v v v small preview of my piece for @scornedzine! this lady w the multiple heads is a rakkhosh (or rakshasa) and it was a struggle to work on something so massive, but im glad i did!!!! be sure to preorder the zine because a lot of amazing artists are there, and im really excited to see how everyone’s pieces will look published!!!

I accidentally deleted the ask because I have two(2) braincells but I’m gonna reply to it here! Thank you for that ask by the way, it’s very very kind! ♥
First his likes and dislikes, and then I’ll talk about his family under the read more because I ended up writing his whole character arc.
Galdrik really likes himself. He’s a half-orc who developed his music skills mostly on his own. Coming from a very different background compared to his peers, he’s very proud of his popularity. He likes entertainment, being charming and seductive, and his friend and husband! He is sometimes a little power hungry and takes too many risks. His favorite spell is his newly acquired “Mordenkainen’s Magnificent Mansion”.
However, he doesn’t really like alcohol, mud and dungeons. More important, he doesn’t tolerate any kind of bigotry and will always stand up for others.

the notion that love is something you “deserve” is so…schewpid

OF COURSE! what i mean by that is that rather than seeing love as something of a privilege we have to start seeing it as a necessity because like…once you start deciding whether someone “deserves” love or not its such a slippery slope because what metric are you judging it by? why is it that being loved is something you have to earn? if love is something you “deserve” or “earn” then the world as a whole would be such an empty place, lacking in love! because nobody is ever truly “deserving” of love! does that make sense? love isnt something you choose to do or some sort of reward it just…happens! it happens and thats fine because love is an enabler to fill the world with warmth and compassion! love is not a privilege its a necessity!!!!
