me @ the meet n greet, suspiciously calm after having an anxiety attack over this moment for the past nine days: hi, i'm hannah! it's nice to meet you guys!
american rock band pvris: (introduces themselves to me despite the fact that i paid specifically for this meet & greet and i know who they are)
alex: (starts taking off the flower crown that the last group of people had given to him for a photo op prop)
me: (blurting this out, in pain @ the sight of alex decrowing himself) oh you can keep those on if you want!
brian: it's up to you!
me: let's keep 'em on!
me 1 second later: (fumbling everything in my tiny lizard hands) i'm not prepared for this omg, i don't have a pen for you to sign this
lynn: we do!! (they all sign my booklet incomprehensibly)
me: (looking down at the unreadable scribbles they have gifted me with) great !
lynn: (looking @ my NASA shirt) you know.............my grandfather worked for NASA!
me: that is.......(dramatic pause).........out of THIS WORLD!!!!!
all of pvris: groaning in response to this horrible pun, but in a friendly way, and i have the distinct feeling of having won them over for life
me: SPEAKING OF THAT (smooth), can we all do the live long and prosper sign? i know some people can't do it but --
lynn and brian: (triumphantly hold up the worst looking most fucked up LLAP signs i've ever seen)
me: (trying DESPERATELY not to correct them to stick their thumbs out, sweating bullets and getting the shakes) haha.......yeah like that! (lying)
brian: (as the camera guy is getting ready) so....do you work for NASA or what???
me: i wish.....but i want to go to space. let's all go to space!!!! (babbling)
brian: laughing @ me, not unkindly
picture guy: ok get ready
lynn, whispering to me as the fucking picture is being taken: so.....are you NASA? are you FBI? are you a spy???? are you???
me: SCREAMIGN AT 29340829 DECIBELS SILENTLY BECAUES THE SHUTTER IS GOING OFF AND I CAN'T REPLY
me: (rapidly losing my cool) ok guys thanks! it was nice to meet you! bye!
