a comic from 2020 based on the a3 stage play take on stranger. in the stage version, zero gives herself up to jon to protect a wounded wolf, and returns his cloak to him as a goodbye. as she bends down to hand the cloak over, the scene is blocked on stage as if she's kissing him (i have to assume this; there is simply no other reason for the way they were posed lol). needless to say, i lost my mind!

I was wondering if you have ever posted what brushes do you use ? I am always on the lookout for nice brushes! Also if you've got any tips for inking, I'd appreciate it enormously. No worries if not! 💕

i mostly just use whatever defaults came with clip studio paint. for inking, my go-to is the the default marker pen brush (under the marker tab in pens), but sometimes i'll swap to the calligraphy one (should be in the pen tab), or this brush but with the pen pressure turned off. just depends on how i'm feeling about whatever i'm inking. when i want to add some texturing when toning, i use stuff like the spray or diagonal line brushes (again, should be included in CSP), i just make an eraser version of them so i can also use them on layer masks.
as for inking tips ... i don't have any hard and fast "always do x for y" advice but i rambled a little about how i approach it.

i'm extremely one and done when it comes to fanart—i get one idea i think is cool, stare without blinking at CSP like a madman until i finish drawing it, and probably won't make any more for that fandom unless i'm truly gripped by its Yaoi (see: destiny, paralive, a3 currently; tales intermittently), so honestly thanks for sticking around all this time :) absolutely no promises or predictions as to what pit i will resignedly fall into next year!

looking at the akyr 4th anni pics again my opinions largely have not changed
- another year another pass at showing us where the hell iori's tattoos are even with an open shirt tease. also i refuse to believe this man works out enough to have even a hint of a six pack. anime can't fool me on this one
- hokusai usually has such specific silhouettes that work for him i'm still baffled this is what they ended up running with. the top looks fine but it's too traditional of a suit to be paired with whatever the hell is going on below. like is the guy really wearing oversized pleated cargo pants with boots?? rare fashion L for him sorry
- satsuki is perfectly tacky and overstyled, no notes. except to say that satsuki is cute
- zen is fine and this is a surprisingly low-key and basic look for reo but i guess it works ok within the rigid boundaries of akyr matching so strictly
- wait. i'm looking at the pictures again and one of iori's lapels is zebra patterned? there is truly something so deeply wrong with this man <3

hilariously, i did actually have a wip of him lying on the ground being Extremely Chungsung a while back that i was dragging my ass on completing, so when the official paralive twitter account posted his bday pic of him rolling around on those tiles i had a good laugh and figured i didn't need to finish my wip anymore. wish i still had the file so i could at least post it here for you, but ah well.
i have to admit, he doesn't super interest me as a character personally (just not to my tastes) although i am a general enjoyer of his design and think he is absolutely one of the funniest guys in the franchise.
but i also draw paralive characters kind of randomly based on inspiration so if i ever have any good chungsung ideas i'll draw 'em 🫡
