I spent most of my weekend in a ball of pain on my bed (with my new comforter). I sucked it up for the housewarming party because we had so many family and friends planning to be there, but I went straight back to my bed after. Today, I am trying to push through the pain and I took a walk during lunch for the first time in a long time. Hoping to walk at least one more time this week and hopefully my kidney doctor can give me some good news tomorrow afternoon. Just need to get over this hump!

We had a wonderful time at our housewarming party yesterday! I am so honored to have so many amazing people in our lives that love our little family ❤

Struggling

Over the summer I completed freaked out and stopped everything related to weightloss.

I gained 30 pounds.

I am struggling to get back into it, but I am finding it more difficult. Even though I lost all of that weight last year and then some.

I just need to find my motivation and resolve.

It feels good to be back at It! Started back today with my lunch break walks with my walking buddy!

Owning a new home has proven to be wonderful for my weight loss journey. I have lost 6 pounds since we moved in. I think it is all of the extra activity! Been busing raking, mowing, other yard work, cleaning, and unpacking! I haven't had less than my daily step goal since I moved in!

It has been a long summer and the fall started off a little rough, but we finally moved into our new home!  I am so happy to finally be settled, so that we can focus on other things  :-)

House Update

Our inspections went well and there were only minor issues! Now we just need to negotiate with the seller about some small fixes and we are on our way to be home owners! ❤❤❤

Why?!

Our inspector cancelled on us today and I am so irritated. We have had a hard time scheduling inspections for the house we are purchasing and my husband took a day off to be there, that he really shouldn't have. Think I will be calling them to get a discount for when they reschedule. Ugh.

We found a house!

We are officially under contract for our new home! ❤❤❤ The best part is that we have space for a little workout area in the finished basement and tons of outdoor space! Now everybody wants my money 💰💰💰

We're in the process of trying to buy our first home and the market is really rough where I live. We placed an offer for a home we liked. The problem was that we went in with our highest possible offer (15k below asking) and the seller countered with 10k above our offer (5k below asking). WE LITERALLY CANNOT PAY A PENNY MORE THAN OUR TOP. I hate that we may lose this house over 10k. Anyone want to gift me with 10k? 🙏 Where is my long lost rich uncle when I need him? House buying. Blah.

Dinner was soooo good! I also had a little green side salad too. Yum!
