I got some requests, so I’ll try to explain how I put someone’s face onto someone else’s body without my final result looking super weird. Some examples of this are here: 1, 2, 3. My techniques might be useful to: 

I use PS5. I don’t use a tablet or anything special, but what you’ll need is time and patience. Sometimes body swapping takes me as long as 16 hours. Sometimes it only takes me 2 hours. Every body swap is different, so this tutorial is more about tips and techniques than a step by step process. This got super long omg. My Clint Barton in the MCU Meta, or as I decided to call it: Why Clint is a lot more interesting and important than you think.

Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye, hasn’t been the most visible character in the MCU this far. We’ve seen him for a cameo role in Thor for approximately 90 seconds total, and then a grand total of 12 minutes and 44 seconds, his longest continued shot being the 2 minutes and 40 seconds’ scene with Black Widow on the helicarrier after their fight.

But, even though his total screentime is only roughly 15 minutes, there is so much we can learn from who Clint Barton is, and what made Hawkeye an incredibly important character in the movie. This is my attempt to make all the ‘Hawkeye isn’t important!’ people realize that they are wrong. (I don’t specialize in meta, I only specialize in making gifsets and crying over Clint Barton, but I do know a lot of Clint Barton’s comic book history too.)

A big bang is a collaborative event where teams of writers and artists create an illustrated fanfiction. Participants submit drafts of a fanwork and those works go through an anonymous claims process where they are claimed by a partner. Then the team completes their project together. This bang is mixed, meaning artists can submit art to be claimed by writers, and writers can submit stories to be claimed by artists.

Marvel What If? Big Bang!

Introducing the Phlint Winter Phestival!

Welcome to the inaugural Phlint Winter Phestival, a winter fanworks festival focusing on Marvel characters Clint Barton and Phil Coulson. The phestival is inspired by Feelstide, the original ClintCoulson fanworks festival, one of my favorite ClintCoulson holiday traditions, and I'm so excited to be part of that legacy living on. I also want to make sure to thank @thegirlinthebyakko for our adorable avatar!

The phestival is a winter and holiday themed fanworks festival, rather than a fanworks exchange. That means there are no direct recipients -- we all get the joy of new Phlint fanworks! Every work created for the phestival will be added to an Ao3 collection and will be revealed throughout December, spreading the joy through the whole month.

Here's how it works! Everyone is invited to submit prompts on the spreadsheet linked below. Prompts can range from a single word to a basic fic summary, and you can prompt anything you'd like to see or read, as long as it is winter or holiday based, and centers around Clint and Phil.

You do not have to sign up to be a creator to provide a prompt. Anyone can submit a prompt! Christmas prompts are of course welcome, but we'd love to see a wide variety of holiday and winter themed prompts!

Creators can choose their preferred prompts and posting dates when signing up. Since we're hoping for a wide variety of fanworks for the phestival, each prompt can only be claimed twice. There will be space to provide two preferred prompts when signing up, in case one of them has already been claimed twice. Creators are welcome to submit a fanwork based on a prompt of their own.

When sign-ups close, each creator will be emailed with their prompt and due date. Fic should be a minimum of 500 words, though longer fics are definitely welcome, and if you choose to create art for a prompt, we ask that your work be at least one complete piece based on your prompt.

As this is the Phlint Winter Phestival, Clint and Phil should be the main pairing or part of the main relationship, or one of the main pairings or part of one of the main relationships. Threesomes/moresomes are welcome. Gen fic and art is welcome as long as it is centered around Clint and Phil.

This was a “The Life of Clint and Phil” serie kinda thing. I started this 14 months ago and then Avengers happened and Jossed all the things and I wept and abandoned it. Then I went through my WIPs recently and saw this… and it felt like such a waste of an idea, so I took my three favorites and finished them quickly and here they are <3 It’s not perfect - by all means - and also super weird to finish something after so long, but I do hope you like it anyway eeeeee :) (as usual, reblog is love, but please please don’t repost art in a new post/use without asking me. <3 )

Peter awoke as the dawn broke, on a beach. Lucky that he had been so close to land when the storm threw him overboard. He sat up and saw the Milano just down the shore. Grounded and likely bearing damage, but at least he hadn't lost his ship. Lucky twice. And judging by the seaweed-covered ruins around him, he had made it to his destination, Morag. Lucky three times.

He considered sending up his fireworks, to call a nearby Ravager clan. They'd help him to a port, for a price. But Yondu's clan was likely to be the nearest one, and Peter couldn't come crawling back after their last row. He was so close to the treasure, and fortune had been on his side so far. There must be something around this sunken city he could use to patch up the Milano, at least enough to get back to the port on Xandar. And then, once he's sold that trinket, he'd have enough gold to make all the long-needed repairs. And maybe some left over for new clothes. And just maybe, that concertina he saw in a shop the last time he was in town.

Peter's daydreaming was broken when he noticed something out of the corner of his eye. At first, it seemed like another ship was coming over the horizon, and Peter's heart jumped. Had Yondu caught up with him anyway? But then it broke the water in a graceful leap. It was a Kree, a shark-man from the undersea kingdom of Hala. Even from afar, his bold stripes stood out against the bright blue of his body, making his fins and spikes look even more imposing. Peter stayed still, in awe and slight fear. Ravagers had no affiliation with Xandar, indeed they were barely tolerated, so Peter had never gotten any trouble from a Kree. (Aside from one...interpersonal conflict.) But he still felt, for some reason, that he shouldn't draw the attention of this particular sea-dweller.

But it was too late, the Kree had spotted him during his jump and was now moving, smoothly and swiftly, toward the shore. He was within arm's reach before Peter could stand up. The few inches of distance Peter's backward scramble made were easily retaken as the Kree pulled himself onto shore with powerful arms. Now face-to face, Peter remembered where he had seen those dark markings and purple eyes before, on a poster in Xandar's square. This was not just any Kree. This was Ronan.
