Just finished rereading ur lazytown fic after having read the first part years ago and holy shit!!!! I literally have spent every second the past like 4 days reading this goddamn story - from the second I get up till I went to bed. It's so good and I genuinely don't know if I'll be able to find another piece of literature as captivating as this! Just holy shit.
ththank you,,,,, it's amazing to me that my first ever longform fanfic still gets this kind of love and affection even years later. really helps boost the motivation for its eventual adaptation (which bears. only the most superficial resemblance to the original work, but maintains the core thematic and emotional beats for the most part. it's been a wild journey changing it around so the "ew, fanfic adaptation" cops don't Shoot me)

If you don't have an AO3 account it might be because the series is locked to be visible only by AO3 users, but I can assure you it's very much still on the site

How are the books coming along 👀?
Funny story on that well there's five of them now xD and so much has changed that it's been hard wrangling them to cooperate but hey, at least book one is at a solid two and three-quarters draft! And the next one (wholly new story content with no correlation to the original fic whatsoever) has a few chapters written, as does the third book.
Currently I'm working on a fully original horror story set in Colorado for NANOWRIMO, so that's where my head's been at lately. The books are coming along, just slowly! Life's a lot right now.

As for physical copies... well, hey, it won't be the same by far, but I AM adapting the core story concept to its own thing, so who knows! Maybe one day a physical variant will actually exist ;)

(And fun fact, I'm currently trying to adapt the fic's story to its own thing, so seeing this is a great little boost of motivation on that front!)
