Con+Alt+Delete 2018

Con+Alt+Delete 2018 was a blast. I decided to cosplay banquet Yuuri about a week and a half before the con, and I am so glad I did. I had so much fun cosplaying him and staying in character whenever I talked to people. Not everyone got it. I can't tell you how many times people asked me where Victor was and looked completely baffled when I rambled on about having no clue, because why would he associate with a loser like me who bombed at the Grand Prix Final, and was told I must be really drunk to forget my husband. But a few did play along. It was fun times either way.

Plus, these are two of my absolute favorite photos from the con, which I never would have expected.

I cannot wait to wear this cosplay again. 🍾🥂💃

I'll be talking about some of the stigma around mental illnesses in Japan and positive representation of mental illnesses in anime. If you're free, you should definitely come check it out! ♡

I debuted my chubby Yuuri cosplay today at the Yuri!!! on Ice Binge! ♡ I went with a group of con friends and we went out for Japanese and Starbucks afterwards. It was so great to hang out and flip through zines and doujins with them! I'm so glad Crunchyroll put this together, and I really hope we'll get to do this again for Ice Adolescence!!
