Everyone has their own ocean… And everyone drowns in it in their own way!

Just taking the time to appreciate the small things: such as this unusual bark pattern on this old log, the new shoots of ferns unfurling, and seeing fallen trees being slowly recycled back into the earth. There’s so many beautiful little details that we miss everyday while going about our lives, too consumed by our daily plights. I often get overwhelmed by it all and it helps to take a step back and look at the details we often miss. Helps to remind me that I am also just a minor detail in the grand scheme of things. Makes my problems seem more bearable somehow...
